My recent stay at the Waldorf Astoria redefined what true hospitality means. While the historic property is architecturally stunning and centrally located, it is the deeply thoughtful, personalized service that makes this hotel extraordinary.The highlight of my return visit happened the moment I arrived. As soon as I walked up to the front desk, Nayib recognized me from my previous stay. He welcomed me back with genuine warmth and friendliness, immediately setting a wonderful tone for the trip.That flawless standard of service extended to every department. The bellmen were sharp and welcoming, the restaurant waiters were highly attentive, and the housekeepers ensured the room was pristine while being incredibly pleasant whenever we crossed paths.It is rare to find a grand, historic hotel where the service feels so genuinely personal rather than transactional. I highly recommend the Waldorf Astoria for anyone who values world-class service in a prime location.

The old post office transformed into a shiny sparkling hotel. We had lunch here on the recommendation of a local, and ended up chilling at the bar to admire its transformation. The atrium bar restaurant with its skylight roof and chandeliers is jaw dropping beautiful. Go just to admire the architecture, stay for a delicious burger, and have a drink.

We used points to have a special anniversary experience we normally wouldn't be able to afford, and wondered whether the Waldorf would be stuffy or sterile, or just out of our league. Instead, we learned why the Waldorf is the Waldorf - the top-level customer service! From the concierge who provided travel tips by phone before we even arrived, to the front desk team who were attentive to all our needs and preferences from check-in to check-out, to the wonderful restaurant staff for breakfast, this was a world-class enterprise that made us feel welcome at every turn. Everyone we encountered was top-notch, but a special shout-out goes to the breakfast server, Nib, who couldn't have been more helpful, hard-working, and friendly each morning. She, along with the others, really made our trip. Thanks to all, and we hope we can get back there one day!

We had a great stay at the Waldorf Astoria Washington DC. The room was absolutely stunning, and the service was outstanding from start to finish. Everyone we talked to at the front desk, bartenders, and concierge desk was friendly and welcoming, and they went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. This will be a must stay for us again on our next visit to DC.

Everyone knows what a beautiful property The Old Post Office is, and expects it to be stunning, but I would say its best asset is its staff. Each and every employee that I have met or interacted with has been just wonderful. Housekeeping is some of the best I’ve ever had. All the little things they notice and did to make my stay even more comfortable is seen and appreciated, from carefully wrapping my device cords into neat bundles, to noting which coffee pods I drank, then leaving me extras of those, to noting my friend used the creamers, so more of those appeared, to placing cloths on my bathroom counter if I left an item out, to the lovely people who would bring my breakfast in the morning, to the very helpful front desk, restaurant wait staff, and valets. They make you feel like treasured guest. I am and will continue to be a loyal Hilton customer.

The customer service at the Waldorf Washington DC was exceptional. Marcos (from Serbia) our bartender was so personal, and kind and provided great customer service.

Everything was absolutely beautiful. The room was breathtaking and the location is perfect.

If I could give this hotel an 11 out of 10, I would. From the moment I checked in and was greeted by the kindness of Aleksandar and the entire front desk team to my spectacular room (so incredibly memorable and iconic!) and the delicious breakfast everyone went above and beyond to make sure the experience was top notch. Location is wonderful for tourism and the hotel is beautiful and historic. It is the team that works there that makes it so special and the reason that I will always come back to stay at this wonderful location. Thank you again for the great experience!

Hotel is unique and beautiful. The atrium is stunning. Great bar, great staff. Room was spotless and excellent.

Our room was spacious with a stand alone gorgeous tub. Service was pretty good- for example had to ask for bath salts or anything ‘extra’. Would like for breakfast menu to have more options and the peacock restaurant is lacking in ambiance and not very comfortable for dining. The food however was pretty good. The main attraction is the location - walking distance to so much. The bellmen were all very helpful and friendly.
For Hilton top tier level having $25 per guest for breakfast doesn’t even cover the cost - felt this was very stingy which why I felt the food was just ok!

This Waldorf lives up to expectations. Service, ambiance, rooms, restaurants, Peacock Alley. You will not be disappointed. For an employee that goes above and beyond, seek out Anteneh! See you soon WA DC!

We spent our first evening enjoying drinks and appetizers at the bar, and it was fantastic. The atmosphere was elegant and inviting, the food and cocktails were excellent, and the service was top-notch. It was the perfect place to unwind and begin our trip.

Check-in was seamless, the bellmen were attentive and helpful with our luggage, and the entire staff made us feel like valued guests throughout our stay.
