Pros:

The room was huge, which was really nice for an extended stay. We had a TV inside (although not really any relevant channels to watch sport events for example), we also had a spinning bike in the room. As for amenity there was shower gel, soap, towels and a coffee machine with daily ~5 coffee pads. The beach close by is a bit rocky but less windy than the fully sand ones a bit further away. You can rent surfboards right on the beach close, and do kite surfing as well not far.

If you come to Cape Verde to experience the culture as well, and you don't simply want to be in an encapsulated resort, this is really a great place in a great location in the center of Santa Maria. Breakfast is provided, with a decent selection of choices, there are supermarkets close by, atms, and some nice places to have dinner. The place can arrange the airport transfer for you, which currently is 20 EUR one way (this is the regular charge) The place is a cafe as well, which servers dinner (at 10% discount for people who stay there), but the food is a bit mediocre for the price. I would recommend Palm Beach or Vista Mar restaurants and Giramondo for ice cream and bakery.

Cons:

This is a bit tough, because i don't want to give a bad rating, but i feel that it is nice to warn other people. So there is a party at the cafe every night until midnight or 1am. Coming from east europe, this is not really a party, but some loud music and "forced" entertainment (we joined in once as well and it was funny, I just wanted to manage expectations). I generally sleep with earplugs, so apart from the first night where i was too lazy to take them out from the suitcase, i didn't really have a problem, but you do need one, unless you want to party every night :) (Also the dogs turn into werewolfs every night as well. :)

The dinner at the cafe (this is not part of the rating but just an exclaimer), is not really top notch. Probably an italian grandma gets a heart attack every time they serve some of their italian offerings. (we tried the pizza, which was nice, but very "unique", tried the pasta pomodoro, which was very school meal like, and the chicken lasagna which i don't even want to say anything about :D). The octopus was nice and they serve Grogue as well, which you should try out.

The worst thing, which you can actually avoid as of now, is the price. You can book a room significantly cheaper if you book with them via their site instead of booking.com. I noticed this there, and of course because their rooms are unique, i couldn't do a price match with booking, because as we were already in the room, that was not available anymore. (but around 50EUR a night difference, which is quite significant.)

Highly recommend for a really comfortable stay in the heart of Santa Maria.

Fabulous place to stay, location is superb. We were upgraded to the apartment on the other side of the square. Truly exceptional.

Relax e no stress in Santa Maria
Pros:

Abbiamo trascorso 1 settimana presso Ocean Suites in camera doppia con colazione e ci siamo trovati molto bene. Lo staff è gentile e attento, la camera ampia e spaziosa (molto apprezzata la presenza del bidet), la colazione (a scelta tra 6 proposte + variazioni) sempre molto buona. Inoltre la struttura è in posizione centrale, a due passi dalla via principale, dai ristoranti e dal mare.

Cons:

Anche se la stanza era sempre pulita e il letto sistemato, mi sarei aspettata una migliore pulizia quotidiana del bagno.
Servizio ristorazione lento, ma nella media dei ristoranti del posto (il motto no stress la fa da padrone)

PERFECTO SI TE GUSTA EL AMBIENTE
Pros:

Habitación hiperespaciosa y personal muy atento, la parte de abajo es muy chula en cuanto a comida y ambiente.

Cons:

No esta bien aislado en cuanto a sonido y hasta que no cierra la discoteca lo escuchas todo, el aire acondicionado también estaba alto y no encontramos el mando.

Pros:

La habitación excelente, muy amplia y decorada con mucho detalle, cama grande y cómoda. El restaurante está muy bien para cenar con música en directo, bailables y buenos coktails. La ubicación perfecta, todo está cerca. Destacar la atención de la encargada, fue muy amable y atenta y nos facilitó mucho la entrada, la estancia y la salida. Es un alojamiento 100% recomendable.

Pros:

Tudo era muito bom, diria que a melhor parte é a localização, mas achei tudo incrível mesmo. O staff super simpático, o conceito do hotel, com restaurante/pub por baixo, torna-o muito conveniente.
