The customer service of the staff in restaurant and front desk is outstanding. The housekeeping is great with the cleaning. The maintenance of bathroom is not adequate because the sink faucet is falling apart in room 204.

Staff were lovely at this property and our was clean and spacious.

The bathroom was dated and shower door broken but sorted out immediately once sorted.

The hotel allow taxi drivers to wait in the reception but they do try and rip you off and hassle you a but. We had one taxi driver try to convice us that 20usd and 15000 tsh. I find it surprising that the hotel staff dont intervene

The staff here was very friendly. 2 bedroom was very spacious. Breakfast options could have been better and at times there was a lot of noise coming from outside. Some renovations to the property to uplift certain areas would also be great. Overall, I would stay here again due to the friendliness of the staff alone.

Very disappointed experience.

The first night in the room was infected by the presence of insects all over the place. It was absolutely disgusting !

We spent the night in there because we checked in very late around 1am and they were not able to get us a room changes.
The morning receptionist was not very decisive and not at all friendly.

The room lightening was terrible
It was awful
The location is a bit skechty
Most staffing don't even speak English

We left this *** stars hotel with a feeling that it's a SCAM

hotel is beautiful, rooms are great and the staff is excellent (perhaps some English language weakness BUT nothing significant). Area around the hotel is not super walkable BUT it is not far from Stone Town (20 minute taxi ride - US$10 to US$20). View from top floor restaurant is amazing and the food is pretty good. I would recommend highly. i would stay here again.

The breathtaking view from my hotel room. My last day in town but I will definitely return. I am eternally grateful for the incredible people of Zanzibar and their exceptional hospitality. For those who don’t know, Zanzibar is comprised of 52 stunning islands. It has been a truly uplifting experience and a remarkably safe place to visit.

Pros:

Only gave a 4 because of the staff but i was leaning towards a 3 or a 2. The property needed renovation about 5 years ago. They keep it keep but you can see the age of the property everywhere you look especially in the bathrooms.
