Cons:

We requested early check in and were told that we couldn’t do that until the day of when it is first come first serve. We showed up on the day of our check in at 10:30 and were told we would get put on a list for early check in and would get a text when a room was ready. After waiting 3-4 hours, calling every hour, we showed up on up at the hotel and see 6 people checking into rooms, which is really frustrating because we never got a text. They finally give us a room, but I got charged double, which was resolved, (thank god). They also take out a $250 damage fee and are supposed to refund it at the end, however it has been 5 days now and still no refund, and J know for a fact that there was no damage to the room. Staff were also very short and rude. Overall, would not stay here again.

Great amenities, great staff, but small details need to be paid closer attention to.
Pros:

Breakfast amazing as always, but most food in warmers, not too warm. Ran out of coffee mugs, which I need a real mug. Just my thing. Manager’s reception, fun and friendly, but served only certain drinks, which a CA Embassy just in January, made anything you asked for. Still so nice to have. Horderves, were ok. Room problems were resolved quickly. The hotel listens and responds quickly.

Cons:

Bed was hard. Toilet was super low. Refrigerator was totally uneven. Yes, we just adjusted it ourselves, but shouldn’t need to. Not much blankets on bed. Pillows only two. LOVED having ottomans in the room! Would be nice for wet bar to have a kitchen towel, and dish soap.

A constant solid stay every time.
Pros:

This is my second time at this location. I enjoy it for the location, and the atmosphere it provides. The rooms are always well maintained for what they cost, and the hotel itself is always quiet and clean. The bar is lovely, and open late enough that you don't need to rush back to the hotel at the end of the day. Front desk is super helpful when I need something, or have a question about the area.

Best "Bang For Buck" in Downtown Minneapolis
Pros:

We always stay at the Downtown Embassy Suites when travel to Minneapolis. We are huge Vikings and Timberwolves fan and attend at least 10 games per year, you cannot beat the location of the Embassy Suites. But location is not everything! The rooms are always clean and large with a private sitting area, the staff is one the friendliest one will ever meet, and nothing beats an Embassy Suites breakfast. Their gym on the -2 floor is huge and the free happy hour every night allows us to get ready for a basketball game or just a night out on the town. I highly, highly recommend this place over all the other hotels because the "Bang for Buck" is unmatched.

Pros:

Book it, it is a great location for football and baseball games with several bars and restaurants. We didn’t have to rent a car so it is a do-able walkable location. Clean, huge, vintage building, high-end fixtures and furniture. Impressed with decent breakfast. Security was present and felt safe.

Room was great. Breakfast was also fantastic.

Cons:

Deposit I paid at check-in was more than the room cost for a night. At least it was promptly returned.
Restaurant in hotel - food was good but service was awful.

The complimentary breakfast was great. The hotel location was fantastic. We were able to take the sky way to and from the Target Center, which was a huge bonus considering the freezing temperature outside.
All of the staff we encountered were super friendly and helpful.

Cons:

Our only complaint for our stay is that our room temperature was too cold. We tried turning the temperature up on the thermostat but the temperature barely changed.

Would definitely recommend this place! Really enjoyed my stay here, safe area and fun.
Pros:

Really enjoyed my stay here, great location and super cool to be connected to other buildings with indoor bridges. Room was spacious and really comfortable. Parking was not the most convenient, as the valet was the only option. This is pretty much to be expected at any major Downtown area, but was walkable to many business and not too far from the Mall of America.
