Pros:

I really enjoyed the service, shout out to Patrick for all the Chengdu city recs and being so accommodating. All aspects of the stay were serviced in a detailed manner; it is personal yet professional. highly recommend!

Pros:

The rooms and the building were beautiful, clean, and functional. We didn't get to stay and enjoy the breakfast, but I am sure it was stupendous.

Beautiful hotel with wonderful rooms.
Pros:

Wonderful property with beautiful rooms. We stayed in aroom with twin tower views giving a great light show in the evenings. Reception is on the 50th floor. All the staff are so helpful and welcoming.

Cons:

Breakfast was reasonable but did expect more from such a prestigous property.
The only other issue is that it is a l5 minute walk from the nearest metro, so better to travel by taxi

Great alternative location outside city centre
Pros:

Amazing location outside the busy city centre. Attached to a shopping mall with unlimited food choices. Extremely friendly staff - check-in, housekeeping, people helping with luggage upon arrival and departure.

PERFECT HOTEL THAT LEAD TO A TRULY ENJOYABLE HOLIDAY
Pros:

The staff at WA-Chengdu were exceptional, professional and very friendly and kind. Apart from the amazing hospitality, the room that we booked for was spotlessly clean - arguably the best hotel we've stayed in. Also, the team went above and beyond to making our honeymoon trip in Chengdu a great memorable one. We were greeted by a beautiful set up of swans with roses on the bed, a lovely fruit platter and a lovely welcome note. I cannot fault anything with this hotel and will definitely be coming back to Chengdu and only staying at the Waldorf Astoria. Thank you

Cons:

I could not fault a single thing. - nothing that we did not enjoy at this hotel so not applicable.

Великолепный отель! Рекомендуем.
Pros:

Отличный отель, великолепные сотрудники. Мы приехали в 12 часов ночи и были встречены у входа, после чего без лишних формальностей нас сразу проводили в номер. Регистрация произошла за 1 минуту. Багаж подняли сразу. Великолепный завтрак на 50 этаже с панорамным видом!

Cons:

"While the Waldorf Astoria brand carries a reputation for seamless service, my recent experience regarding breakfast was disappointing. Due to an early flight, the night prior to check out, I requested a simple breakfast (eggs Benedict and fruit for my baby) to be sent to the room at 5:45 AM the following morning (ass the buffet breakfast wasn't opened at that time) Despite my stay including breakfast, the staff initially insisted on charging a room service fee and were reluctant to accommodate the timing.

Given that the kitchen was already staffed and preparing for the day, the 'convincing' required to get a basic meal for my child was unnecessary. At the time the manager called to discuss, my baby was crying. i explained that i cannot take the call as my child needed my attention, yet he still wanted to discuss it. i was very frustrated, that i had to beg for food, and ignore a crying child because the manager was unable to understand that my request was easy to attend to, yet he made my feel like i was begging for a meal.

A bit more flexibility for traveling families would go a long way in truely delivering a 5 star service.
