Orchardz Hotel Gajahmada Pontianak

It was okay for the price. could have been better. The room was a bit small, but it was very very clean. The food downthere was good. This place is very near a lot of culinary places that you could visit during your freetime.

I stayed at this hotel for bussiness trips. I can say that the location is very strategic, close to many culinary spots in Gajah Mada street.

What I love the most from this hotel is the spacious room and bathroom even they have oldie design. But I think the management should pay attention to the bedroom floors. When I step on the floor, I can feel some empty spaces beneath. In addition to that, please also fix the shaky chairs.

For the amenities, I hope that single-use amenities could be reduced in the future. The management could have soap and shampoo dispenser

About the breakfast, I love the various menus this hotel offers however I wish the hotel could have water dispenser rather than having mineral water in plastic glass.

Last but not please, the wifi really sucks! Please improve the speed!

Bad services front office although should be downgrade to superior room and restaurant staff not polite, dirty room and air conditioning not cold, not recommended for next stay at Pontianak, im really disappointed

There was no hot water, tv reception was ‘cloudy’. Complained to the hotel but no solution. Still no hot water and tv still ‘cloudy’.

No butter provided at Breakfast Buffet. Only cheap margarine.

Restaurant was understaffed. Had to look for a waitress to get service.

Generally an unpleasant experience.

I would say it was a great stay. As a long staying guest ( Feb 2020 - May 2020 )the entire staff has never failed me with their services, from the front to the back of the staffs. Lobby ambiance was so warm with the interior. The hotel located in the main street of Jl. Gajah Mada where we can find many street food vendors at night. Coffee lovers would like to spend their time at KEKO ( kedai kopi ). Yet, coffee terrace in Orchardz Hotel Gajah Mada could not be missed. They offered live music on the weekend tho. They served live coffee " traditional serving " during breakfast at The Ritz Cafe. Kenny made special coffee 👍. Thank you Orchardz Hotel Gajah Mada team. Keep up the good work!!

at first they wanted to put me in a smoking room which I strictly refused.I had an advanced paid booking with clearly non-smoking preference. So they upgraded me to executive room. which was ok, But later came next issue. room was okay, but no
light switch worked to switch off the light at the entrance. I called for assistance starting 10.30 PM. All numbers tried: room service, housekeeping, concierge, no response. I tried again and again till 1.30 AM, finally.. at 2 AM they manage to took out the bulb without any further explanation nor sorry. For me, this is experience is enough to decide not to come again. For the price I paid I rather stay in a place where I know I can rely on fast assistence, on friendly and effective communication.. just imagine if there would be any health issues which needs emergency response and nobody picks up the call.. hotel is not only a bed to sleep, but should give comfort and safe for
the guests.

For Pinka, im recent time we have come to hotel orchardz, many changes in pinka, she good service to guest, smiled cheaply, friendly and helpfull. We see Pinka provide the same to all guest who stay at orchardz gajah mada so guest will always return yo orchardz every event or business in pontianak.

Located in the city center, convenient access to everywhere. Thanks everyone for the warm service. I can tell that language is not a barrier, everyone tried their best to communicate and helped! If you are looking for 3 star prices with 5 star service then this is the place. Will be back again soon

Great Services and Good Hospitality. All the room services and employees are nice and humble. Good and fast respond either to customers request. And for the parking lot, it is very safe for our vehicles. Two thumbs up for the security. Keep it up 👍

hotel staff clean friendly complete food, i have been here three days but they still provide very good service very satisfying me and family meet mom Selvia she directed me about the facilities in it she is very friendly, rooms are also cleaned everyday, i will be here again for next year

Perfectly experienced clean and comfort with best services ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. This hotel also located in center of Pontianak, so I am very easy access to anywhere. The foods for breakfast also tasted delicious.

This is the first time a stay here.the staff hotel is very friendly,and helpfull,also the room is very clean with the nice view and comfort bed,l like very recomended to choose this hotel for your good experience.

When I decided to stay in the hotel using Traveloka Application, Hotel easily decided to give me a smoking room for me and when I was asking non-smoking room, the front officer said, no more available room. My conclusion, this hotel always give the bad rooms for guests who booked from online application (no window, smoking room, etc) and if we asked another rooms, the from office with easily answer "No more available rooms". Many times I stayed in this hotel, hotel always give me no window room, and or smoking room.
Please do not make justification without confirmation. I guess this condition always happened because they think that guests can do nothing since payment has been made.

Its strategic location on Jalan Gajahmada, Pontianak City. Although parking is quite narrow, but still adequate. The receptionist is friendly. The rooms are quite a lot of choices, some of which have windows overlooking the city of Pontianak, making it comfortable to relax while enjoying views of the city. Hotel room is ok. Breakfast is not exciting, especially with the taste and variation... 3 or 4 days staying, i'm enough with those breakfast.... stuck on the bathroom drain-pipe since the bathroom flat was made too flat... but location is nice, near with main city and coffee corners (gajahmada street).

the staff are so polite and helpful, all is running smoothly form check in until check out time. it's take 2 minute to walk to the main street and you can find many local food here, form breakfast to supper. you will not hungry.
we stay at 7th floor, the room was clean, cozy and big. the toilet a bit small but design still good. has stand up shower, towels are clean and maintained.
will recommend this hotel to friends and family members.

Upon arrival, I was informed that they could not secure a non-smoking room so they decided to upgrade my room! Thank you very much for your exemplary customer service. I liked the location also. Right in front of the main street. So many good food: try the seafood restaurant just at the side of the hotel or the banana fitters in front. Delish! also near to the souvenir shops.
