Café da manhã com boa variedade de pratos quentes, frutas e pães. Localização excelente e como peculiaridade, o hotel é situado dentro de um ponto turístico da cidade.

Zentral gelegenes Hotel in historischem Ambiente
Pros:

Top-Lage in der Altstadt in einem historischen Konventsgebäude mit wunderschönem Innenhof (ehem. Kreuzgang), besonders abends sehr stimmungsvoll. Der Innenhof war tagsüber auch schöner Aufenthaltsort, allerdings wird am frühen Abend fürs Dinner eingedeckt.

Cons:

Ungenügende Englischkenntnisse des Rezeptionspersonals (wie leider oft in Nordspanien!), für ein Hotel dieses Anspruchs aber enttäuschend. Die Betten waren uns zu hart, unsere Frage nach einem Matratzen-Topper blieb erfolglos, es konnte keine Abhilfe geschaffen werden. Immerhin konnte die laute Klimaanlage mit einem Griff in den Sicherungskasten ausgeschaltet werden.

Superb stay, highly recommended
Pros:

Fantastic location in the hart of the old town.
Dinners were superb, lovely atmosphere with attentive staff. Wine list is extensive, we enjoyed a lovely spicy oaky red, perfect for meats, a 2022 Pardevalles
Carrolón for around €35. So good, we found it locally and got a case! Highly recommend the hotel, it’s something special, but go for a larger room if you can.

Cons:

Tricky if you are driving in. It’s a one way system and easy to miss the narrow entrance into the old town. Parking was spacious though!
