Joe was the best with his customer service. He took care of me like I was family
The location was great! I enjoyed the view of the beach from the room. The breakfast was great.
I am writing to formally express my disappointment regarding the unacceptable experience my group and I encountered during our recent stay and event at your property.
From the moment we arrived, it became clear that the accommodations and service provided fell well below the standards we expected. The condition of the hotel itself was concerning, particularly the torn and worn carpeting throughout the property, which created an unprofessional and poorly maintained appearance.
More importantly, we were extremely frustrated to learn that a room we had reserved and paid for was given away to another group at no cost. This caused unnecessary inconvenience, confusion, and disruption to our plans. Despite this significant error on the part of the hotel, there appeared to be little urgency or accountability in resolving the issue appropriately.
Additionally, the condition of the elevators created major accessibility and logistical challenges for our guests and event attendees. Several elevators were either broken or operating improperly, resulting in long wait times, congestion, and considerable foot traffic backups throughout the hotel. This negatively impacted the flow of our event and created frustration for everyone involved.
What was perhaps most disappointing was the difficulty we experienced when working with management to find reasonable solutions and accommodations for these issues. Rather than focusing on customer service and making the situation right, we encountered resistance and a lack of flexibility when discussing our concerns and the impact these problems had on our event.
Given the number and severity of these issues—including the reassignment of our paid room, the poor condition of the property, the malfunctioning elevators, and the challenges we faced with management—we believe compensation beyond what was offered is warranted. We respectfully request that your team review our experience and provide appropriate compensation that reflects the inconvenience, stress, and disruption caused to our group and event.
We chose your property with the expectation of professionalism, reliability, and hospitality. Unfortunately, our experience did not meet those expectations. We hope you will take this complaint seriously and work toward an equitable resolution.
We look forward to your response and to learning how your organization intends to address these concerns.
Not at all the stay I was expecting.
My room wasn’t ready upon check in. I was understanding of that, so I sat in the lobby quietly until it was. Once I got access to the room, I found that the toilet in my suite splashed upon flushing. Even with the lid closed; the contents of the toilet splashed out leaving messes every time I used it. The dishes in the cabinets were also dirty as was behind the bed. There was even an abandoned television remote amongst the trash and crumbs behind the bed.
Only one elevator worked the entire stay. I was on the 5th floor of the hotel, and the wait was quite unbearable due to the heat during the day. Several guests opted to use the stairs instead of waiting for the ONE elevator to finally arrive.
The event space our group paid for, was given to another group complimentary. Causing unnecessary friction between the two groups, as well as causing us to use the lobby as a substitute instead of the CONTRACTED space. Since the lobby space wasn’t entirely private, we had regular hotel guests entering the space as they were confused as to why they couldn’t access the lobby spaces.
On the final day of my stay, we were able to use the meeting room we had a paid contract for. However, the room was left messy from the previous group. The serps were dirty and I had to scramble to make the best of it for our group’s event.
The rattan patio furniture had no cushions whatsoever, and the patio also had a surprise possum just walk right up to us one night.
Overall, this location was unprofessional as were some of the employees there. One employee openly ogled a group of women I was with as we got onto the ONE operable elevator. Completely Unacceptable behavior.
Homewood suites by Hilton at 110 Seawall Blvd in Galveston Tx, did not stand up to the expectations I had for a stay costing over $1400. I was excited to give Hilton a try. But this location was not a good look for the brand and causes me to hesitate staying with Hilton in the future.
Unprofessional should be the name in front of Homewood! Rooms that were already reserved and paid for were taken and given away to others for free. Broken elevators, possums on the patio, dogs by the pool, just terrible! And to make matters worse, the manager had such an attitude and did not want to compensate for a thing. This was the worse hotel experience I’ve ever had! Go somewhere else where you and your money are appreciated and welcomed!
Loved the suites. Perfect for kids. The staff was friendly.
The pool. There is no shade or lounge chairs to sit in.
The air conditioning was cold. The staff was accommodating. The refrigerator and stove was convenient. Breakfast included.
The elevators were slow and only one worked. Ice machine on 5th floor broken. You have to pay to park. The description online of room said 2 bedrooms. It was 1 big room.
me encanto ,pueden estar seguro q regresare los ADORE
The ladies that serve breakfast were a little rude and notice they were only rude to people who spoke Spanish. I'm not sure if it was because they don't speak English but they there to serve not to really complain about people leaving they waffle mix cups at the counter. But the lady that cleans the rooms was nice and helpfull
Staff friendly and professional
Tolet door make sound and need toilet trash can.Toilet too close to bed
Staff was very professional and accommodating to our needs.

Breakfast was not great in my opinion. Eggs where unlike anything I've ever experienced. More than one waffle maker would be nice to cut down on wait time.
We book a room for 5 guests....we had 4 towels. Just something to consider when setting the room up.
Pool noise kept the room from being quiet, but patrons where enjoying themselves.
Excelente localização a passos da praia
Limpeza e arrumação somente a cada 2 dias. Nunca tinha visto isso. Café da manhã razoável
Breakfast
I didn't get a ocean view room
The location was amazing, the suite itself was very nice too. We did encounter room not to be completeley clean, but it was something we could let slide because we really liked the room.
I feel that we already pay a good price for the hotel stay, on top of that they charged us a fee for parking on hotel grounds, that really didn’tmake sense to me. Another thing I didn’t like about the property is the way the staff carry themselves, upon our arrival my husband asked at what time dis they serve breakfast and the gentleman answered, with it’s up there, don’t you know how to read! What type of answer is that for a person who is supposed to be offering quality service. The following day, we’re at breakfast and a lady asked of she could take her breakfast to the room, she answered, you can it in the parking lot, in the floor, wherever you want, in a very rude tone.
