Everything was pleasant from the check in to checking out. Staff Were EXCELLENT!
Pros:

The breakfast was amazing!
I got to the hotel before check in & The staff was very accommodating & Got me in earlier.

We enjoyed the hotel and the proximity to restaraunts.
Pros:

The breakfast and location was good. We wished there would be a better/safer crossing area for the beach.

Cons:

We didn't have Wi Fi in our hotel room. Also, the lobby was a little warm.

A Little Sloppy
Pros:

It was refurbished recently and clean but not as good as other Homewood Suites. The staff seemed unhappy. This incident seemed indicative of the place. No one wiped up milk that sloshed out of a cereal bowl in front of the elevator. Instead, they put a caution sign over it for at least an hour which seemed like a hazard in and of itself. I saw multiple employees look at it and walk off. It would’ve taken a single napkin to sop up, but it was left to stick there. The pullout couch mattress was so thin you could feel the metal beams below. The kitchen /breakfast bar staff tried but it wasn’t as good as other Homewood Suites as their eggs and potatoes were wet but I liked their carnita breakfast taco. The food corporate supplied just isn’t as good as Hyatt and Marriotts. In general, Homewood Suites are great for their set up but in general don’t seem as good as Hyatt and Marriott properties.

Nice and convenient place to stay
Pros:

Large king suite very comfortable. Pleasant place. Enjoyed the happy hour. Close to Galveston Strand and cruise terminals.

Cons:

Breakfast good for most, but not as good for diabetics. The eggs were fine. Cheeses, Strawberries and blueberries with Greek yogurt would be nice.
