A great hotel in a superb location, offering modern comfortable rooms, good facilities and excellent staff.
Pros:

The location was great. Very close to vast array of shops, bars and restaurants.
Since staying here previously, it appears the hotel has had a very nice facelift and the staff are much friendlier, more attentive and professional.
The room I had was very comfortable, spacious and quiet. The bathroom was modern, well designed with an excellent shower.

Cons:

There was no fridge in the room, which proved to be unfortunate, as we were staying for 5 nights and a fridge would have been so useful.
There was also no bottled water in the room. This was the 13th hotel we’ve stayed in on this trip and the first that doesn’t offer bottled water.

Its been great
Pros:

Everything has been amazing, one of the best treatments we ever bad actually in a hotel, Olga has been taking care of everything we need. Also i need to thanks the hotel, cause my girlfriend is Celiac ( alergic to glúten ) and they had options at breakfast and at the restaurant. For sure we would Stay here next Year again.

Pros:

Location is great. Reception personnel is quite good.

Cons:

Cleaning person was awful . Never clean the room , did not bother to enter the room to change towels, never empty trash can. We had to call reception to get towels. I have never encountered such a bad service before at any hotels in the US and other countries.

Outside the property the street by ins were overflowing and litter - Rubbish was strewn across the road and foot path.

Quality you’d expect at a DoubleTree
Pros:

Great location next to the Riverwalk along the Thames that suited our visit perfectly. The air conditioning was extremely welcome during the exceptionally hot days that coincided with our stay. On this occasion we didn’t eat in as we had other plans.
Parking was better than anticipated, at reception you could pay £8:50 for 24 hours in Sainsbury’s car park around the corner. It is a very busy supermarket but we found spaces and could come and go during the stay. However, the parking bays were quite narrow!

Cons:

Signage not particularly clear about dropping off to sort parking, but that was essentially a roadwork’s problem rather than a hotel issue.

Excellent, will return next year for the Prem Rugby final.
Pros:

Good English and continental breakfast options. Excellent air conditioning in our rooms as well as in reception and bar bistro areas, a welcome respite as was a very warm weekend in Kingston. Location was perfect as it IS centrally located and only a couple of minutes walk from the train station and slightly more from the bus station. Overall an excellent choice of hotel with great staff. Complimentary warm cookie on arrival was appreciated and delicious.

Cons:

No bar fridge in room to keep liquids cool as it was a warm weekend. Room lighting was a bit funky, bathroom main lighting came on with bedroom lighting, strange!! Had balcony but had no access to it.
