Memorable stay at Double Tree Hilton, Melaka.
Pros:

We booked a room on a higher floor in conjunction with our 40th wedding anniversary. Our room was decorated with two swans on the bed and we had a complimentary anniversary cake which was delicious. We were particularly impressed with their Care line concept. They responded promptly to our needs. We truly had a comfortable stay here.

Cons:

Taking the elevator to the lobby and yet another to access the rooms was rather cumbersome and confusing at times. The hotel is also quite a distance from the main attractions like the Stadhuys, A Famosa ,Bukit Melaka, Jonker Street and the River Cruise. We took a Grab so it wasn't really a problem.

Pleasant stay
Pros:

I had a pleasant stay at the hotel for 2 nights. The room was clean and spacious, which made it very comfortable. The breakfast offered a good variety of choices, catering to different tastes. The housekeeping staff was very attentive. He rang the bell to ask if we needed the room to be made up, and we mentioned we would prefer it after our swim; he came back about 3 hours later to check again. I would like to give him credit for his thoughtful and helpful service.

Cons:

I did not particularly like the carpet in the room.
The car park is like a spiral ramp, and cars have to go round and round up about 5 levels to find parking. A bit dizzy for me.

Hotel lives up to 5-star expectations! 👏🏻
Pros:

I love the rooms. Live up to the expectation of a luxurious 5-star hotel. I also love the buffet spread for breakfast and lunch - so much varieties.

Cons:

Location might be slightly inconvenient if you're looking to go anywhere on a walking distance. But as long as you have Grab app, you can easily travel anywhere within 5 minutes.

It was great stay!

Cons:

Only 1 chair with plugs at desk and no mirror … but only shaver plug in bathroom… so I had to use hair dryer and curling iron at desk but with no mirror…

Those are minor… overall it was fabulous. Ramesh ,manager of food service treated us like royalty and was extremely helpful re my husbands vegan diet. The luggage concierges were helpful and informative and all the people in the dining rooms were exceptionally gracious and went out of their way to be

Pros:

The location is not ideal, as the mall downstairs is completely empty, which makes the area feel quite lonely. However, the breakfast selection is surprisingly good and stands out compared to other local hotels. Overall, it’s much better than courtyard marriott malacca.

Cons:

The pillows were quite uncomfortable and could be improved, with both soft and firm options provided for guests. In addition, the room amenities were very basic — it would be better to include items like cotton pads, cotton buds, and dental floss.
