Ein altes, kleines Hotel in bester Lage und mit einem tollen Ausblick aufs Schloss und die Loire und mit einem sehr gute
Pros:

Das alte Hotel hat eine top Lage, vor allem weil man einen Ausblick direkt auf das Schloss und die Loire hat. Es liegt ruhig, die Zimmer sind zwar alt und nur über ein schmales Treppenhaus erreichbar, haben aber Charme. Das Personal ist sehr nett. Unsere Fahrräder konnten über Nacht in einem Schuppen abgestellt werden. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist gut und umfangreich, es steht in einem alten Kellergewölbe als Frühstücksraum bereit.

Absolutes Highlight ist das zum Hotel gehörende Restaurant auf der anderen Straßenseite: es liegt direkt neben dem Schloss mit Blick auf die Loire und man kann sehr schön draußen speisen. Das Essen ist einfallsreich und hervorragend, die Preise fair, die Bedienung sehr nett. Eine klare Empfehlung!

Cons:

Für das alte Hotelzimmer ist der Preis von 200 € pro Nacht inkl. Frühstück recht hoch, zumal das Gepäck von Hand in die zweite Etage über ein enges Treppenhaus geschleppt werden muss.

A lovely spot with a great view of the castle and the river. Meals were available on site. I found the price is pretty high at the restaurant. Otherwise, we had a great stay. It was a very interesting old building and kind of cool to be in an authentic old time building. If you take the stairs up to your room, you can see where they used to put the lanterns against the wall for light. It has a lot of old nooks and crannies. The staff were incredible. We loved our stay and would definitely return.

Pros:

Prachtige locatie, rustig. Het hotel zelf straalt charme uit maar de kamers zijn echt verouderd, niet groot, en de badkamer heeft zekers een opfrissing nodig.

Cons:

De douche was echt niet proper.

Pros:

Unkompliziertes Check-In, Velos konnten sicher verstaut werden, Zimmer konnte früher bezogen werden

Cons:

Müffeliger Geruch im Zimmer (Zimmer wahrscheinlich über längere Zeit zu feucht), Zugang zum Bad sehr eng (zwischen Kamin und Bett), nicht alles sauber (z.B. Tischchen draussen hat wahrscheinlich länger keinen Putzlumpen gesehen) und beide Stühle im Zimmer hatten Flecken auf dem Polster.... am schlimmsten aber war der Geruch (mussten Pyjama anschliessend waschen).

Origineller Frühstückraum im Fels. Ruhige Lage mit schönem Blick auf das Schloss.

Cons:

Wir hatten das Comfort-Zimmer im Dachgeschoss im 2. OG, das über eine schmale z.T. steile Treppe zu erreichen war. Das Zimmer war kleiner als angegeben. Die Matratze war durchgelegen und in der Dusche war Schimmel in den Fugen. Es gab nur ein kleines Frühstückbuffett.

A nice hotel, with a great restaurant, in a stunning location
Pros:

The restaurant at the hotel was fantastic. Excellent food, with an even better view. Our room was a good size and had tea making facilities.

Cons:

The decor was a little tired and dated. We could not get the shower to get hot in the morning even though it had worked the night before. We had to leave early in the morning and the gate to the parking lot was closed. No one was in a rush to help us get it open

Hôtel avec du cachet, historique et original. La literie était top. Chambre très calme et une vue exceptionnelle sur le château et la Loire. Les petits déjeuners et le service etaient parfait. La salle du petit déjeuner, troglodyte, est atypique et très agréable.

Cons:

Les tarifs ! La chambre est petite et l accessibilité n est pas idéal avec des bagages. Le prix freine vraiment l envie d y séjourner. C est vraiment trop cher surtout sans les petits déjeuners.

Fantastic views from comfortable hotel
Pros:

We enjoyed a view over the Loire and chateau from our top floor room. The hotel is set on a quiet road which we appreciated.
Breakfast was excellent served in a beautifully lit space carved out of the rock

Cons:

The bedroom could benefit from some updating. Ditto the bathroom.
