Would have been a lovely stay if it wasn’t for air conditioning situation
Pros:

Great location, interesting building and beautiful surroundings. Parking right opposite and got a space both days. Staff helped with a reservation for the restaurant opposite which is also part of the business

Cons:

Was advertised as having air conditioning, however this was just a portable air conditioning unit with a vent going out of the window which meant that the window had to be open at all times and the light came through the curtain. We had no choice but to use the air conditioning as we also had our dog with us and he wouldn’t have coped. However, as a result of the window needing to be open there were hundreds of midgie flies in the room above our children’s bed and we all had to sleep with sheets over our heads. We were all bitten and there were dead flies all over our bed in the mornings. Raised this with the staff on reception and she just shrugged and said “c’est normal”

Hotel by name alone, only really a B&B. But price of a hotel ??
Pros:

Fabulous location. Excellent parking wonderful town

No facilities. Restaurant closed on day of arrival More akin to a B&B actually

The fact that the restaurant was closed on our night's stay and after a very long drive we wanted to just park and walk across road to the restaurant
No milk provided on tea tray and only 2 tbags n coffee sachets.
Room made up as a twin and not a double
Lack of full knowledge of staff re local eating places- we were given some options but these were either closed or not serving food. We found other options the following day whilst out walking in opposite direction which may have been perfect so this was disappointing.

Une nuit entre Loire et Château : tout le charme de la ville de Montsoreau en un lieu !
Pros:

Rien que pour le petit déjeuner copieux et délicieux dans une grotte troglodite, ça valait le coup de faire un saut à l'hôtel Le Bussy ! Mais il faut aussi rendre justice à la qualité de la chambre : un lit douillet, avec une vue magnifique sur Loire et château ! On ne s'en lasse pas.

Cons:

La chambre mériterait un petit coup de frais : rien qu'en refaisant le papier peint et les joins de la douche, on serait dans les standards de cet hôtel de charme !

Pros:

Hotel atypique. Chambre 6 avec une petite terrasse aménagée. Parking devant l'hôtel. Restaurant partenaire sympathique. Petit déjeuner varié et copieu. Jus de fruit frais.

Cons:

Accueil commercial à l'arrivée et désagréable à mon départ. La chambre 6 aurait besoin d'un rafraîchissement. Téléviseur fixée à 20cm du plafond. Il n'y a pas toutes les chaines de la TNT. Pas de prise électrique à la tête du lit pour le téléphone. Tringle du voilage est tombée. Araignée 🕷 en prime.
