Cons:

The reviews on Booking.com and photos were misleading. We booked 2 nights here in a panic after our flight out was canceled. Unfortunately this hotel is in need of a lot of care and attention. Damp walls and peeling paint. Bad smells. There also doesn't seem to be many people working there. Stained sheets. Broken fixtures. We had to ask for another room because the air con started to leak on the floor and the shower was broken. The new owners should do better... It's not fair on staff or guests to keep the place in such poor condition.

Cons:

Food wasn’t good, went to the restaurant only us and one other table waited 40 minutes for the food to come out wrong, then waited another 25 minutes. I ordered bbq wings and chips for them to come out with no sauce or chips and chewy chicken. Cocktails didn’t taste like they had any alcohol. When we arrived at the hotel at 6pm the room wasn’t ready yet once we got in the air conditioning was broken and the phone had no power we were moved to a smaller room with a view of a wall when we didn’t book that room. The air con was very bad we were roasting the whole time. We asked for someone to check the air con nobody did. The pool was closed for 2 days due to maintenance. We tried to ring for our breakfast that was included nobody answer tried a different number nobody answered, we went downstairs and asked to order breakfast 10:05 and they said we were too late after explaining nobody would answer the phone. 5 minutes late and they didn’t give it to us. Staff weren’t very helpful. Had to go downstairs to ask for shower towels she came up 15 minutes later with a floor towel so had to ask again and wait another while.

Only thing was the pool was closed for renovations for the 2 nights I stayed. The pool was great on previous trip.

Terrible stay, never again
Pros:

Close to beach and other good venues, lift for easy access to rooms

Cons:

Cold breakfast, wrong breakfast given, charged for splash of milk in coffee, room had ants in bathroom, given different room to the one booked, no cleaning products, no soap, no slippers as stated, room faced the wrong direction, woken at 2am by someone swimming in the rooftop pool on multiple occasions....
Very different from our first stay here July 2025 while it was still the Zest. The manager was emailed and I've not had a response. Will never stay here again!
