Cons:

We have been staying here ever since this place was built. were always given a kettle and two mugs on request so that we could make a cuppa in our room. we were told they didn’t have any kettles. We know the hotel had changed hands but sometimes it pays to take care of your regular guests we come at least twice a year to stay. Smoking and vaping behind the bar was very unacceptable to my husband and myself. Why have no smoking signs up then put ash trays on the tables . The kitchen staff and waiters were great

Clean, friendly, no fuss budget property.
Pros:

Very easy to get around. Staff were lovely. Quiet after 11pm after show across the road finished.

Cons:

Bedding needs an upgrade & aircon had some problems a few days in. Smelt like cooking fumes coming into the room.

couldnt get service at pool for drinks or food, ordered them over the phone, waited an hour but nothing, when going downstairs to ask about them, the staff had no idea.

The breakfast at the restaurant was great

Cons:

The reviews on Booking.com and photos were misleading. We booked 2 nights here in a panic after our flight out was canceled. Unfortunately this hotel is in need of a lot of care and attention. Damp walls and peeling paint. Bad smells. There also doesn't seem to be many people working there. Stained sheets. Broken fixtures. We had to ask for another room because the air con started to leak on the floor and the shower was broken. The new owners should do better... It's not fair on staff or guests to keep the place in such poor condition.
