Cons:

During the time I stayed there, I heard a thumping noise in the middle of the night in a neighboring room, only to find out that their bathroom mirror had fallen and shattered to pieces. I met the guests when they were checking out, and they said that the GM didn’t even approach them to apologise and all they were offered was a free bottle of water as an apology by the reception staff. I was shocked to hear this kind of behavior from a 4 star hotel in Colombo! They should have given the room free!

The bar/upstairs restaurant was not as ideal as depicted in the pictures vis a vis in relation to the pool. Also we expected roll

Pros:

Residential location of Colombo was OK, avoided the hard city intensity

Cons:

A relic of a previous generation. Interior is very dated and the tolerance towards some clientele was disappointing. Saturday night is disco night nearby with boom boom boom resonating for many hours. It serves a very basic purpose but is lost and overpriced in a modern world.

Luxury with top quality food and staff.
Pros:

Everything. Breakfast was fantastic - the biggest range of different choices I have ever seen for breakfast. They even changed some of the choices each day. The staff were really helpful. Being able to have a massage in the hotel was easy and enjoyable.

Cons:

The shower floor was too slippery when wet. You need a nonslip floor mat and/or grab rails.

Pros:

Das Hotel hat eine wirklich tolle Lage und der Pool sieht tatsächlich genauso schön aus wie auf den Fotos. Besonders der Blick über Colombo hat uns gefallen – tagsüber genauso wie abends mit all den Lichtern. Das Personal war nett und hilfsbereit und wir haben uns insgesamt sehr wohlgefühlt. Ein schöner Ort, um Colombo zu entdecken und zwischendurch am Pool zu entspannen.
