Hotel28 Myeongdong

Very beautiful and nicely decorated hotel and rooms.
Its location is convenient as it is located in a lively district, with lots of restaurants and shops, and with metro stations nearby.
The rooms are big and quiet.
The staff is welcoming.
Good breakfast.
The icing on the cake is the Din Tai Fung restaurant at level 2, don’t miss it!

Excellent bed, location was very central but a bit too close to the busy market streets, staff were nice but a weird system between reception and concierge on 2 different floors. The breakfast was ok, but lots of coffee choices.

The best part of this hotel is the location. Its right in the middle of the shopping district of Myeongdong, extremely convenient, surrounding by restaurants, and shops. Its also just a short walk from the subway station.

Central Meongdong location, multiple malls, food choices and transport options nearby.
Staff were excellent- even came out on the street around the corner because our driver couldn’t find it as we arrived on a busy street scene 9:30 pm. Plenty to do and see in the lively, safe area,

If you are looking to be in the MyeongDong area, this is absolutely the hotel for you. You have super quick access to metro lines and so many buses. It is quite easy to get to other areas of Seoul from this location. Additionally, the staff are always incredibly nice and attentive. The room itself is a great size, super comfortable and the daily stocked minibar is a nice treat.

立地がよくどこに行くにもアクセスがよかったです。また、フリーのコーヒーサービス、冷蔵庫のフリーの飲み物、水もフリーでよかったです。
チェックイン前、チェックアウト後もホテルで大きな荷物を預かっていただけました。
また、レストランの予約サポートをしてくださり、さらには、クレジットカードをショップにおき忘れた際もスタッフが連絡してサポートして下さいました。本当に助かりました。

Stayed at Hotel28 Myeongdong and honestly really enjoyed the experience. The location is super convenient, right in Myeongdong but without the crazy crowd and noise at night, which made it much more comfortable after a long day out shopping.
There’s also a row of really famous fried chicken stalls right in front of the hotel, perfect for supper or late-night snacks. Another huge plus is that Myeongdong shopping can get tiring, and public toilets are surprisingly hard to find sometimes. Being able to quickly head back to the hotel halfway through shopping, whether to rest, use the restroom, or drop off shopping bags when they get too heavy, was incredibly convenient. Everything is nearby, all the famous shops, skincare stores, shopping streets, and food spots are within walking distance.
A big bonus was that there’s a really nice café called Cream Chic right under the hotel. Hotel guests get discounts there as well as at a few other nearby partnered shops including pharmacy, spa, and food places, which was a really nice touch and made the stay feel even more convenient.
Service was also excellent throughout the stay. The concierge and reception team were always friendly, responsive, and efficient. Whenever we requested extra items, they would send them over within minutes. They even messaged before check-in to make sure everything was smooth and to check if we needed anything in advance, which was a very thoughtful touch.
One thing to note is that toothbrushes and shaving kits are chargeable separately as the hotel is trying to reduce single-use plastic waste, so just prepare accordingly.
Would definitely stay here again when visiting Seoul.

Stayed here for 3 nights at the end of our holiday, it was a lovely hotel in which to end the trip (a quiet oasis in the middle of manic Myeongdong!) The staff are very welcoming and the place is spotless. I’d definitely recommend the hotel to anyone staying in the area.

This hotel is fantastic. The rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean. The staff are wonderful and exceptionally helpful with Amanda and Nicole always cheerful and and understanding of your needs. As far as position is concerned, number 1 with restaurants and street markets just steps away. Would highly recommend this small deluxe hotel winner.
