Don't advertise as an hotel until you light the place!
Pros:

Told by proprietor that she did not want to cook dinner for me as the only guest and proposed a restaurant 4kms away. No signage at all outside the property (nb 'a 3 star hotel' creating a long search up and down the road to find it. My room was up a very steep, dark and unlit outside wooden staircase, I was told that it was ok as the light would come on when it was dark outside. When I returned from the restaurant, not a single light was on outside or inside, except the one I had left on, expecting nothing less, in my room. Had I not had a mobile phone with a light in it, there would have been pitch darkness.

Cons:

The breakfast was cery good and service attentive (being the only guest)

Nous avons prévu d'y refaire escale quand cela se présentera, l'humain passe avant les étoiles.
Pros:

Emplacement correct et surprenant, la campagne en ville. Acceuil chaleureux et simple. Bonne table. Beaucoup de travaux en cours et à venir, nous espérons qu'ils tiendront dans la durée, les lieux et la famille le méritent.

Cons:

Un seul grief "climatique", la nuit, peu ou pas d'éclairage extérieur. Se lever"tôt" (entre 7 et 8 heures) et rejoindre son véhicule pour le charger relève de l'exploit dans le noir des allées et du parking (+/-100mètres)

It's a beautiful building. We saw a spectacular sunrise through the trees.
Lovely big bath and shower in the room we had.
Great breakfast!
It was a lovely respite after driving on motorways all the way from the south west of Spain. Off the beaten track.

Cons:

It would be helpful to warn guests that some (or all) of the rooms are not suitable for people with reduced mobility. The stairs going up to our room were extremely steep. And the bed was so high off the ground you have to climb into it!

The breakfast was very good. Fresh local products. Good coffee. Good parking for car and trailer.

Cons:

Beautiful property but very tired and requires attention. Very different from the photos and previous reviews.
The evening meal was very disappointing and not good value. We had two rooms, the first floor room access was very dangerous and extremely steep staircase. The second room on the ground floor was damp and had no ventilation other than the entrance door. No light or ventilation in the shower area.

Escale au domaine
Pros:

De passage pour une nuit, nous avons fait escale dans le domaine des chais. Nous étions loin de connaître le palmarès de ce lieu. Tout nous a séduit, l'accueil très chaleureux de nos hôtes, la chambre très fraîche grâce aux murs de pierre (34° dehors) et notre moto à l'hombre et sécurisée dans l'enceinte du domaine. Nous n'oublions pas la qualité des plats pour le dîner et le petit-déjeuner de roi.
Amis motards si vous entamez une discussion sur le 2 roues avec le propriétaire vous aurez de sacrées surprises 😉 Encore un grand MERCI à nos hôtes pour leur accueil, si nous repassons dans le secteur, c'est sans aucune hésitation que nous ferons halte à nouveau dans votre merveilleux domaine.
