The deluxe room that I was upgraded to. It was clean, comfortable and secure. The receptionist was very helpful and friendly just like last year. They had an ice cold fridge in reception that I could store drinks in, perfect for the heatwave.
The hotel wi-fi was down the whole week I stayed here. The receptionist did report it to his manager but it wasn't fixed during my 5 nights stay. My original standard room had a badly stained carpet and smelt very stale. But the receptionist upgraded me to a lovely deluxe room free of charge.

No breakfast available in the hotel The only positive things in this ill-managed hotel were a quiet, cool, room and a comfy bed.
No service at reception for much of the day, shoddy appearance of communal areas and no toilet paper in my room or in any of the 3 toilets on the ground floor. |Forced to go to another establishment to use their facilities!!!
The room was better than expected after seeing the reception and the state of the other areas. It had obviously been refurbished.
No food available after seeing it advertised as serving food, we were then told by reception we didn’t see that because it WAS being renovated but they ran out of money! The lift was out of order and was told to just use my legs to walk up the stairs, even though I am disabled! Was told we are not allowed to eat in our room so would need to eat the dirty reception area. This hotel is clearly being used as emergency accommodation by the council with drug users living here long term so the reception team may have a hard time, still no excuse to speak to paying customers unaware of this - like we have been forced to stay and should be grateful for a roof over our heads.
It was close to the seafront and restaurants
we were told we had to swap rooms as first key card couldnt be read. No hot water. Milk was off and curdled. No wifi. Lift not working. No plug for bath. Filthy under the bed and bed sheets were dirty. Told to move to a 3rd room if we wanted to wash with 3 children.
The kettle in my room was not working, thay come in the 5 days to bring more toilet pepper , they made the bad ones but never changed the tailes.
Easy booking.
Messy stairs outside, lift. Broken had to wait for towels.
