It isn’t a 5 star hotel nor did I expect it to be. The price is reasonable. First and foremost it is clean and quiet. The owner is friendly and helpful. The breakfast is adequate. I have no complaints.
I have stayed here before and reserved for a night with a pet, speaking with the owner who quoted and sent me a verification of the rate. Got to hotel and the manager bumped me $20” stating that was standard eventhough that was discussed and included in cost I originally agreed upon. We were tired and I said “fine.” Apologies were given. I asked for a 1st floor room for handicap wife. Nope. 2nd floor. Room - be aware - ours had an old school wall unit (phone didn’t work so walked to lobby) which when we couldn’t figure out, learned worked when set between 3 and 4, otherwise - you get cold. We got moved to another room. Breakfast was really spartan - out of order juices (vending machine out of order too). Old coffee (think gas station old) biscuit (2) and gravy and Little Debbie glazed donuts. They did have bagels and some yogurt. Holiday Inn Express where are you :(

Close to Worthington. Walking distance to awesome steak house.
parking was convenient and safe. Not much of a choice for breakfast may be left to early. If Im in that area again I would stay there
