You Can't Argue With Value For Money
Pros:

The Roade House is a small hotel in a quiet spot 3 or 4 miles outside of Northampton. Great for me working on a long contract at Brackmills. Whereas commuting from other hotels to the West of the M1 suffer from the long term roadworks causing congestion, there's a couple of back-roads routes from Roade House that avoid all this.

Lot's of nice little touches - an in room fridge stocked with free of charge chocolate for example. A great breakfast hand cooked to order included in the price. The same team look after a pub across the road with great pub classics available.

Don't be worried if there is no one at reception to greet you; they are across the road running the pub. They are an efficient and friendly bunch.

Very Comfortable
Pros:

Every thing well catered for and super clean with comfy bed.
Only issue was you had to collect your keys from the pub opposite on check in and there was not a soul about till the next morning at breakfast (great breakfast). My husband found this a bit disconcerting - was a bit spooked by it.

Pros:

We have just travelled all over England , Ireland, Scotland and Wales and this is the BEST accommodation we have had. Ask for no 1 room. King sized bed and plenty of room around the bed , something we found lacking in many hotels and B& B,s we stayed in.
The hotel across the road had great food and our Breakfast was great.
Whether we were just sick of double beds I don’t know but what a relief it was to have a king sized bed.
A big 10 out of 10 from us.

Perfect place to stay for Silverstone!
Pros:

Chose hotel as only 20 mins from Silverstone. Totally confused when we booked in just after 2pm, had to pick up keys at pub opposite, via note on door of hotel, and was asked to give our breakfast choices at that point! No menu given, so told to ring through to the pub later after we had thought about it. When we finally got in, the Hotel was in darkness, no staff anywhere or on reception and all very quiet. The room was spacious, comfortable and very clean. Complimentary mini bar and toiletries. We left our breakfast choices via voicemail on pub phone as requested. Following morning we went down and a side room, now not in total darkness, was serving breakfast, not the pub. Lady serving us knew nothing about us having to pre order breakfast and didn't know why we had been told to do that. Overall, the room was perfect, the breakfast was very nice and well cooked, the ladies serving breakfast were lovely, but someone needs to sort out welcoming guests and the breakfast thing! Would stay again.

Pros:

This hotel is fantastic. It is in a quiet location. The staff were all friendly and really accomodating. The rooms were comfortable, clean and had lots of complimentary refreshments that made the stay more comfortable. We were staying the night before my wedding and 8 of us managed to have a lovely pub meal in the pub opposite for our evening meal at short notice. Also the staff accomodated the need for some of us to have breakfast early so we could start wedding prep. The breakfast potions were generous and delicious. Definitely recommend this as a great place to stay.

Nice place to stay
Pros:

Delightful accommodation with nice decor, in a lovely little village. Had a little trouble finding it as I did not see a number out front. But others did around them. We had a down stair disabled room which had very adequate facilities. Lovely garden. No complaints

First class - recommended.
Pros:

First class helpful, friendly service, nice well equipped rooms, exceptionally clean. Very reasonably priced in comparison to 'chain' hotels in area. 7.00am breakfast - important for business guests. Ideally located close to M1 and Northampton. Large car park, good pub food opposite. Would recommend to anyone.

Lovely hotel but
Pros:

Lovely hotel but why they choose to close the lovely har area for food in place of a run down stinky pub across the road is beyond me. Hearty good quality breakfast made up for a meal in the pub with the aroma of the ladied toikets wafting around my plate of food.

Home away from home
Pros:

We attended a friends wedding and we just wanted somewhere to crash nearby but this turned into a lovely experience with home comfort and lovely little snacks in the fridge to ha, just like home. Breakfast too, like home. *****
