Comfortable inn with character. Our room had a fireplace and seating area. Complimentary drip coffee and pound cake for breakfast! They also have free bikes you can use— very close to downtown! Lots of seating in lobby and outside.
super cute room and property. comfortable bed. will stay again when in the area
Loved the bed, shower and record player- we lucked out with Fleetwood Mac. Also, lots of seating options in the room, very relaxing.
You couldn't just access free coffee in the lounge, you had to order it.
The property is absolutely adorable. The layout is so cozy and the rooms are incredibly unique and well stocked. Wonderful and welcoming staff. If we come to the area again I would definitely stay here.
Really nothing other than it was a bit pricey.
The staff is so kind. We loved the on-site coffee bar. The “hippie” theme and laidback vibe is adorable.
If you are able-bodied this is a quaint, clean secluded place is great. We are an older couple with multiple health issues so it would not work for us. Rachel understood and refunded our money on the spot. That’s true customer service.
Quiet and cozy, fire pits and common areas
Beautiful location and amenities. Love the vibe and the people were all super friendly!
The staff were professional and pleasant; the accommodations were comfortable and delightfully groovy; the morning coffee and bread were delicious. The location is an easy walk (maybe a half mile?) to the downtown area.
I hated the drive up the mountain. The costs of all accommodations in the Highlands are too high on weekends. The Outpost would be great for a couple on a short vacation, but not a value for a single person traveling to a Highlands vacation.
Really nice staff - the bed was comfortable and the fridge was quiet. Nice fire pit area allows guests to relax.
The room had an issue with the fireplace which staff fixed but the fix didn’t take, windows didn’t open, have to be okay with noise upstairs and in the courtyard.
Super unique and comfortable,
Love the casual vibe.
You can hear people walking on the second floor room above your head
Very clean and comfortable
Room too cluttered for my liking
I loved the location and on the last night staff helped Asher start a fire outside our room. I loved the location of our room, which faced the back of the property. We had privacy, a big porches that faced the fire pit and the gravel parking lot.
Our shower leaked all over the bathroom floor and was a mess. The ceiling fan only had one speed and my son needed it on even tho it was 20 degrees outside. We thought we’d have a record player according to the description of the room and pics. The bed was okay, but could have been more comfortable. I needed a down pillow and they had none.
