lovely old village
didn't sleep as church rang chimes every hour in full throughout the night and although it's nice to hear the birds in the morning, crows started at 4am and continued throughout the early morning, Saturday night was hoping for a better sleep but wedding celebration meant that very loud disco music went on until 12 pm
The staff, the guys were really welcoming and really professional, friendly and a credit to the hotel.
Nothing.
Good. But no fruit. Or. Yoghurt. On. Either. Morning. Although. Advertised
Tv. Bathroom. Very. Shabby. Etc. fauty
Great staff and bar
It could have done with a lick of paint here and there and the breakfast wasn't worth the money.
I love the character of the building. It was lovely.
Everything was exceptional
Great staff and lovely building fantastic garden.
The bathroom light goes off too quickly you have to keep waving your arm around so you're not left in the dark!
Nothing!!
Was visiting from down South for my father-in-Law’s 95th birthday! We wasn’t made aware that there was a function downstairs. The music was so loud the floor to our room was vibrating. We went downstairs and complained to be told that the music would be off at midnight. Wasn’t offered another room or any empathy whatsoever. Absolute disgrace!! Complete waste of £81!!!
Friendly and helpful staff 👌
Nothing
The hotel grounds and the Beatles suite
The damp in our room
There was not much to like to be honest. I liked leaving the next day. The location is great for Stonehenge and Wiltshire. The shower was hot and the biscuits were ok.
The decor is flaking paint, dirty skirting boards, walls, flaking ceilings. Room decor was dated. Room was freezing, took 2 hours for the inadequate heater to take the edge off the cold. No restraint, bar wasn’t open, nowhere to lounge. WiFi was unusable. No staff.
The location of the hotel in town was good. That's about it unfortunately.
The rooms were filthy - especially the bathroom. It was probably the dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed in! We were moved to another room after complaining but it wasn't much better.
Hotel ancien.
