Whispering Woods Resort

This resort was recently acquired by Club Wyndham. It was a Shell resort. Everything is clean and orderly but could use updating, check in was effortless. Staff is helpful.
The resort is on a golf course for warmer months and is designed for Winter sports. There is a nice trail that goes down to a river where you can find a bench to sit for a rest and enjoy the scenery. There are no elevators in the buildings so not great for anyone with mobility issues. There is some covered parking with storage for Winter gear. The stairs up are metal to accommodate snow months. There is a small pool and hot tub. Exercise facilities have basic equipment and a sauna. There is a small library and gift shop.
Kitchens are well equipped. Bedding is good. Living room is comfortable enough. Each room has a BBQ.
The area is a bit remote, with a grocery store and a few shops and restaurants nearby. Must have a car to get around.
Good place for a few days R and R.
I suspect Wyndham will likely overhaul the place and it’ll be different the next time we come here.

Sauna, Pool und Hot-Tub haben sehr zur Entspannung beigetragen. Die Suite war riesig und die Ausstattung lies keine Wünsche offen. Wir hatten sogar eine eigene Waschmaschien mit Trockner. Die Lage direkt am Rand des Waldes war super, wir hatten mehrmal Rehe, direkt unter unserem Balkon.

This resort offers such a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, making it a wonderful clean home base for exploring the beautiful Mt. Hood area.

There are so many must-see places nearby, including Trillium Lake, Timberline Lodge, breathtaking views of Mt. Hood, and the Scenic Waterfalls Drive—just to name a few!

The condos are comfortable and well-equipped, featuring full kitchens, gas fireplaces, gas grill on large deck, and convenient in-unit washers and dryers. Fresh towels and washcloths are available as needed, and there are even some covered carports for added convenience.

The resort also offers a heated pool, hot tub, and well-maintained fitness equipment—perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing.

The staff is friendly, helpful, and accommodating, which made our stay even more enjoyable.

The lobby also has a gift shop with hoodies, sweatshirt, tshirts, cups, etc....

🍕 SIDE NOTE: If you love pizza, be sure to stop by ZigZag Inn Restaurant in the village of Zigzag. It’s located inside a charming, grand old log cabin inn and is definitely worth a visit!

Overall, this is a wonderful place to stay while enjoying all the natural beauty and adventures the Mt. Hood area has to offer! ❤️🌲🏔️

Lots of room and plenty of space for 6 plus people

We had a wonderful time at Whispering Woods Welches Oregon. The resort is very accommodating and helpful in many ways. Just ask and they can probably help. they have a great little pool area with Jacuzzi and sauna as well as a playground and wonderful trail to the Salmon River. other activities can be found in the surrounding areas like a trout farm you can fish at, golf, and many other outdoor activities. the units are beautiful and well-maintained.

Die Lage direkt am Golfplatz ist perfekt. Die einzelnen Apartments sind sehr grosszügig und sind gut ausgestattet. Wir sind schon mehrmals hier gewesen und kommen gerne wieder. Das Personal an der Reception ist freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Alle Probleme konnten gelöst werden.

Whispering Woods Resort was wonderful. The setting was beautiful, the staff was friendly and the location can't be beat. The room itself was very large, with 2 full baths and a full kitchen. There was garage storage for our bikes, so that was an extra bonus for us. Restaurants and a store were within a mile, and that was very nice feature. We would definitely stay here again.

Loved the unit size and layout and the view of the golf course!

Venue was perfect. Well groomed and beautiful. Rooms were great.

We had a 2-bedroom 2 bath. It's sizeable and sleeps up to 8 but if you had 8 there not sure where everyone would sit; kitchen table? Couch for 3 and 1 chair by fireplace and tv viewing. (A tv that wouldn't connect to net & hard to operate). Wi-fi never worked & had to use hotspot. Unit itself is long in the tooth (90's feel) and needs updating. Carpet was dirty from years of use. There was a washer/dryer though no description told us of this so we brought more clothes than necessary. Like so many timeshares now they're outdated and not worth what you get for your money (dues/exchange cost).

Ideal location , comfortable resorts for visiting Columbia River national parks and Mt Hood
2bedroom resort is good for family.
Bedroom is slightly tight , will be better if that can fit King bed instead of Queen size

Cute and cozy! More beds than advertised so it was nice to have the extra beds!
