Parfait pour un pied à terre, le centre accessible à pied de l'hôtel, 10 minutes environ

Pros:

A perfectly located, intimate property with very friendly service. Despite its location on a high ground floor right next to the street, the room was well-soundproofed, equipped with efficient, quiet air conditioning, and a well-equipped bathroom.

Cons:

Since I was here for work purposes, the room lacked at least one chair and a small table for laptop.

Ein besonderes Haus für Individualisten

Kein 08/15 Hotel, sondern Haus mit Charme eines kleinen Stadtpalastes, originale Stuckdecken und historisches Treppenhaus. Alles gepflegt, wer etwas besonderes mit einem annehmbaren Preis wünscht ist hier richtig. Große historisch geschnittene Zimmer, einfach aber funktional eingerichtet, sauber. Air condition individuell einstellbar, Bad saniert. Leider kein Kühlschrank im Zimmer. Frühstück sah OK aus, aber nicht genutzt. Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Lage am Rande des Zentrums, alles fussläufig erreichbar. Parkplätze auf Hof vorhanden. Auf dem Weg in die Stadt viele Restaurants abseits der üblichen Touristen Ströme. Historische Markthalle nur 10 min Fußweg.Placa República vor dem Hotel gepflegte Grünananlage. Wir hatten Zimmer nach hinten mit Terrasse (Sonnenliegen) und Sofa, Blick über Gärten der Nachbarschaft bis zum Atlantik, Vogelgezwitscher. Ab Vormittag bis Sonnenuntergang Sonne. Würde The Rex wieder wählen. Wer ein modernes standardisiertes Hotel sucht ist hier falsch.

Cons:

Ein kleiner Zimmerkühlschrank wäre eine sinnvolle Investition.

La ubicación es perfecta, está a menos de 5min de la estación Trindade y está cerca de muchos sitios. Tiene un supermercado super cerca, junto con cafeterías y restaurantes. Estaba muy limpio y la relación calidad-precio es muy buena.
La limpieza y reposición diaria de agua se agradecen mucho!
Si vuelvo a Oporto, repetiría sin duda!

Cons:

Sería genial que tuviera un microondas y un minibar ya que no tienes donde calentar comids cuando quieres picar algo en la noche ni mantener las bebidas frescas sobretodo en primavera o verano.
