The hotel was ideal for me. It was in a great location for where I was visiting.
Pros:

The full English was very good wife and I really enjoyed it the staff was social and very helpful

Pleasant stay for a night
Pros:

It was in a central location only a short walk to the shops/pubs/restaurants.

Cons:

The room was very cosy. Not much room around the bed and also the bathroom very narrow with not much space to store toiletries.

Pros:

Young girl behind the bar was lovely & refunded us straight away.

Cons:

Paint peeling off walls, window that didn’t shut with a strange view of mattresses stacked outside.. broken bed sofa, tiny rooms.

Pros:

The room was fine. There is no evening meal option but The Mariners up the street is good. The location is good once you know how to get into the car park.

Cons:

Now there is a charge for parking and also for breakfast. This still does not make the hotel very expensive. However the cooked breakfast is now kept hot in containers and that might deter me from going again.

Excellent stay in a comfortable room
Pros:

Clean and comfortable room, very quiet despite the hotel being located on a busy roundabout. Very helpful staff contributed to an enjoyable experience

My room was a nightmare. A member of the hotel staff helped ma at first but that meant going down two flights of stairs to find him. Later, on my return from the match, I had visions of being stuck outside my room all night until the key eventually turned in the lock

Cons:

The shower was in the bedroom therefore there was no privacy. A little uncomfortable when sharing rooms. This wasn’t displayed on the photos of the room I booked either, understandably I wouldn’t have booked it if it was.

Cons:

The room was dirty, cobwebs around the room, the towel rail was dirty. No shampoo, very little tea, coffee and sugar. Had to ask for refil.

Glad we chose this hotel. Central, Clean and Comfortable.
Pros:

The location is Ideal, parking, and 5 minutes from the train station, shops and the Riverside. We came by train so we didn't have to get a taxi with our cases, our friends arrived by car and paid, £12 for the whole weekend at the back of the hotel. Our double room was good, clean, the bed was very comfortable and the pillows smelt fresh. The hairdryer didn't work but we could live with that!

Cons:

We like a cool bedroom and it was very warm in there, the window was small so not much ventilation. Maybe a small desk fan in the room for hot stuff nights would make it more comfortable.
