Extremely good value for money, excellent location.
It’s at the budget end of local hotels so please realise it’s on a busy roundabout. However it had secondary double glazing so not too bad. For the price it’s amazing.
Clean, comfortable and the staff were welcoming.
The rooms are good.
The hotel was quiet during the night
The room was very spacious and my son had his own room
The double bed was uncomfortable as bit springy but didnt damoen the spirits.
Was very cold
Staff were friendly.
Thought the price we paid for room only was excessive.
But happy to be able to take dogs
Over priced based on room only.
Extra for breakfast
Extra for parking
No food available apart from breakfast
The breakfast was good quality, (there was an extra cost of £9.50 each) the staff were friendly and the location was ideal for what we needed it for.
When we booked we advised the hotel that we had 2 dogs. On arrival we were allocated a room called the cozy room, it was probably the smallest room I have ever stayed in. There was literally no room at all for myself, my partner and our 2 dogs. The facilities were ok, if somewhat dated. I probably would use the hotel again if I needed a hotel in the area, but would most definitely ask for a larger room. On a positive note the staff were great and the bar area was good also.
Good value.for money cozy room
Tv remote was a bit dodgy but other than that no.complaints
The family room was really a suite with two bedrooms, each with its own shower. A separate toilet served both bedrooms. We loved the family room, spacious and comfortable.
Breakfast was only so-so, with drip coffee that was not so good. But the spacious and comfortable family room, the character of the property, and the friendly staff made up for the average breakfast.
Staff, breakfast, location
Awful mattress, single glazing window meant loud street noise, it was as if the window was open all night, cramped bathroom, not much room to sit on the toilet
very nice deco and clenliness
The breakfast was very good. The room and bathroom were clean. The bed was not comfortable and, as the room was small, it was uncomfortably warm at night. Central location, easy access to town.
You could feel the springs in the bed.
Location of hotel was great for the event we were going to
Decor needs a fefresh
Check in, even though we had been delayed, reception remained open till our revival.
Self service breakfast needed better heating arrangements.
Location was good
Unfortunately we had a few issues with our stay and room.
We arrived and had a drink at the bar, Unfortunately both glasses were dirty.
We had to pay for overnight carpark which had no room.
The sofa bed didn't have enough room to be flat so legs were elevated. The main bed mattress was really uncomfortable and could feel all the springs.
The shower was unable to turn off.
Staff was friendly but wouldn't come back due to comfort and cleanliness.
Also room wasn't cleaned and towels just left outside the door.
