Location is great

Great room. We booked one on a high floor. Fabulous views. Comfortable beds, great shower. Easy walk around downtown. Pleasant bar area. Excellent restaurant right next door.

This property is amazing. Outstanding customer service, always a warm welcome, immaculate rooms and common areas, beautiful pool and workout facility. This property stands out like no other. I look forward to another hotel stay soon with Hyatt Place :)

Pretty good for business travellers. Check in, check out process is very smooth. It is very conveniently located with lots of restaurants around.

The front desk was not manned because the girl working was also covering the coffee and snack bar. A man came to the desk twice in the 15min i waited but didnt even greet me, and walked away. The girl who greated me didnt acnoledge the wait, and was not overy hospitible. I request a room away from the elivators howeve,r when the elivator doors opened my room was the first one there. I tried calling the front desk 3 times to changed it but no one picked up. when I went down finaly told her, she stated I needed to go get my bags from the room before she would give me the next room key, when i asked if someone could just follow me up so i didnt ave to lug my bags down she said no.
The rooms are dated, though it looks like they are renovating.

The staff especially breakfast and front lobby.

Condensing my complaint, I sent to corporate:
1. At check-in My family was having a "moment" with each other while in the lobby (wedding stress) and later came back to the front desk to see the attendant was literally talking about us!! And KEPT TALKING after we had been standing there. I understand talking about crazy customers BUT GO IN THE BACK??. I am also in a customer-facing job and that baffled me.
2. The Bride (my sister) paid a ridiculous fee to have welcome bags delivered to each guest's room which they NEVER DID, even during check-in when we tried to clarify the miscommunication, the desk attendant said, "That will have to be a tomorrow problem" What?? No apologies? No, "I'll make sure to relay that information" and she clearly never did because the bags sat for DAYS. She might've forgotten because she was too busy talking!!
3. I had an allergic reaction to the feather pillows, let the woman at the desk know (WHO WAS WONDERFUL) and she asked housekeeping to replace all the bedding and grab foam pillows. When I get back to my room what do I find? FEATHER PILLOWS AGAIN. I had already gone to Urgent Care once for a steroid shot that cost me $180 and I was in disbelief that housekeeping would either be lazy or completely negligent to redo everything just to give me MORE feather pillows. Maybe they were trying to intentionally end me at that point.

Rooms are clean. The breakfast buffet was fantastic. Noise was at a higher level than expected from the room to those next door. The staff on arrival were not very friendly or welcoming. Again unlike my other expierences with Hyatt. Location is perfect.

This is our second time staying at this hotel on a family vacation to Fla. We keep coming back because of its great location downtown near shops and the beach and its beautiful pool and free breakfast, plus large rooms. However, some downsides: there is no fresh filtered water available for guests in a central location. What happens at other hotels I wonder? We had to trek downstairs 3 floors multiple times daily to fill our water bottles at the workout room's water bottle filling station. Also, no safes in the room. Lastly, while this contributed to a casual and comfortable atmosphere, it was a bit concerning that there was no real security in the hotel and anyone could just enter and walk in and go up the elevators to the guest area. Hotel could use some updates because many of the hallways smelled damp. Overall, it's pricey for what it is, but there are not many good options in the area.

Lovely staff; Accomodating and very attentive; The breakfast is very yummy along with Healthy options. This is the 3rd stay annually and will continue to stay here every year.
