Perfect location and great room
Great location. Huge hotel. Great cocktail menu and big beer garden catching late sun. We had breakfast on last morning and had really good selection.
Hotel offered what we needed for our short break.
We got parked in the free rear car park. Several options and even if parking in the square it wouldn’t have been expensive.
Our room was very small. Tried to upgrade once checked in but nothing else available. Don’t mind a small room if on a short break but this had barely any floor space around bed at all (Bambi room).
Loved the location
The Location
Our room was very very small and not what we expected for the money we paid
Location, friendly welcome and nice little extras in the room.
Only stayed one night so nothing was a problem.
This was such a cool property. Our room was great, as was the restaurant. After an Airbnb booking mixup, Stag was able to accommodate us with about 10 minutes warning.
Staff very welcoming. Food excellent. Great location.
Room was very small and window had large gaps due to a distorted frame. No storage in room. On several.occasions we were disturbed by someone trying the door without knocking. Room only as used booking.com led to surcharge for breakfast not prominent in details at time of booking. Overall felt a little overpriced for room size.
Lovely property, excellent location right on the square. Off street parking. Food was flavoursome with a good menu, and staff were exceptionally helpful. Fuuse CCS slow charger in car park 2
Pillows weren’t overly comfortable, but that’s a personal thing. Advised the staff I had to leave before someone was on the premises in the morning was told I could get to car park where my car was charging through the alleyway. Got out of hotel fine but gate through to car park via garden was locked so had to drag my suitcase, laptop bag, and rucksack all the way round the outside of the square onto road then up a gravel driveway approx 0.3m away to get to my car which was very disappointing and made me late leaving stow-on-the-wold.
Position. Bar and breakfasr area.
Our room, Fallow, was far too small for two adults and not worth the money paid.
The breakfast was very good as was all the meals we had there . Prices reasonable. The Staff helpful and friendly. Old building well looked after.
A bit more room between table settings would have been good.
Location was good
Rude staff
Very scenic and central. Staff lovely
Bed wasn’t the most comfortable, parking can be tricky. Tesco’s is the best option
