Central location. Breakfast was tasty.
Staff were very unfriendly and borderline rude when we came down for breakfast. The breakfast room wasn’t full so clearly more staff were needed to manage demand.
Rooms are very small and our room was very close to the stairs so could hear all movement.
Excellent service, breakfast choice excellent, relaxed atmosphere made you feel very comfortable
Maybe a warning about the number of stairs for less able visitors.
A very central location, cosy rooms and good food
Nothing
Fantastic venue, great staff, brilliant location. Recommend highly.
Being super critical, we were on the ground floor and as it's an old building you can hear the people staying above you. Slept through it mostly although the people above seemed to be walking around in the middle of the night
The dining area was good. The meal was fabulous and the staff was very helpful. The ambience of the place was wonderful with great character. We had a lovely view from our room.
The stairs were very difficult for those with cases. The beds were not very comfortable and the pillows were awful. Much of the night was spent trying to get comfortable.
The hotel is very charming and cosy, with a lovely atmosphere. Just be prepared for quite a few stairs, as this is an old building. Overall, everything was very nice and we had a pleasant stay.
Staff friendly enough location spot on
The room was 3 floors up uneven stairs in the eaves very small nowhere to put anything except on the fire, escape stairs, floor hadn't been hoovered my husband trod on a piece ot broken glass and got a piece embedded in it , told staff who weren't really interested. meals, very expensive service charges extortionate
Location and onsite parking
Dirty mugs in our room on arrival and a window that you can’t close.
Very conveniently located at the square, with lots of dining options and food nearby. The staff was all very nice and friendly. We needed to store our dog's food they allowed us to keep it in the fridge at the pantry. When we needed to freeze some ice packs for the road, they accommodated and helped us keep them overnight, and we could collect in the morning.
Felt the shower area is slightly small, and without the bath curtain, water splashes out to the bathroom floor quite easily. Be careful of the shower pipes is very hot! Felt they could have more reserved parking lots for the guests as finding a parking lot there is tough, especially at check-in time.
Gorgeous location, well located and beautiful food. all.
Bathroom a little tired but didn’t lessen our stay at
Location was fantastic, staff very friendly and welcoming. Very quant pub and nicely decorated rooms
Our room was a bit too small and there was an extractor fan going all night which made it very difficult to sleep. The room was so hot even with the provided fan we still had the window open
Great location and coverall good stay
Awesome overhead shower and king size bed
Old building so very creeky floor boards in room and above
Quite overpriced at £200 for the night
Room was well furnished and clean
Walls/ceilings are very thin so was kept awake by neighbouring rooms. Not a good place to sleep
firstly i’d like to say how brilliant the staff were. We stayed in the potting shed , which is located outside of the main building which was very clean and spacious. The room has everything you need and the bed was very comfortable. We also had breakfast in the morning which had a good continental choice and cooked options too which were nice.
limited parking at peak times
Continental breakfast was good. Room was small but had everything it needed but did get very warm in the night.
Good location for exploring stow.
£25 for two cooked breakfasts was a lot.
Good location
Small room and expensive
Well situated,friendly staff,good food
Nothing to dislike
