The hotel seriously lacks a proper concierge service or a dedicated guest service team that can promptly respond to guests’ questions and assist them throughout their stay. I contacted the hotel through Booking.com, but my messages were not always answered, and when they were, the responses often came too late.

Housekeeping was another disappointment. When I requested room cleaning at 6:00 PM, I was told that housekeeping only operates from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and I was somehow made to feel that my request was unreasonable. Even during regular service, staff repeatedly forgot to replenish bathrobes and dental amenities. Requesting additional bottled water was also unnecessarily difficult. Apparently, only two bottles can be provided, and getting more feels like begging, as though leaving a tip is necessary to receive basic service.

The deposit policy was also poorly communicated. Through Booking.com, I was informed that the required deposit was PHP 2,000. However, upon arrival, I was told it was PHP 10,000, which was eventually reduced to PHP 6,000. This kind of inconsistency creates unnecessary confusion and frustration for guests.

Even basic quality control seems to be lacking. During the linen change, I noticed a hole in the blanket. At breakfast, staff began clearing everything in a hurry 15 minutes before closing, seemingly more concerned with finishing their shift than ensuring guests could enjoy their meal comfortably.

I also requested a complimentary late checkout, but my request was refused on the grounds that it was not possible. Interestingly, I was told that it would be possible if I paid for it. I understand that late checkout is subject to availability, but the way this was handled left a very poor impression.

Another disappointing experience involved the hotel’s car service.

The best Hotel we have ever stayed in
Pros:

Huge choice of food for the breakfast the staff were all super friendly and professional. The room was very clean and quiet - beds were very comfortable. As my partner put it "Its worth going to Puerto Princessa just to stay at the Ivywall hotel"

Cons:

Everything was perfect - there was honestly nothing that was not first class

Short, but sweet stay to celebrate multiple birthday celebration with friends for life ...
Pros:

Room : The mattress and pillows are so comfortable, not so tough but not so soft either. I had a good night's sleep!
Breakfast and Dining Area : Breakfast selection was good enough and the dining area is clean!

Cons:

Room: 1 pillow case has a stain (most likely not removed from washing). Didn't have the time to complain due to busy sched during my stay.
Dining Area : I just noticed one staff during my 2 days breakfast that provides "more" attentiveness to foreigners instead of being equally attentive to everyone- foreigner or locals =(

Bell'hotel, vicino all'aeroporto ma anche al centro di Puerto Princesa. Bella camera, un pò rumorosa l'aria condizionata, bella piscina, colazione buona.

Cons:

Hanno un banchetto per informazioni turistiche, ma serve solo a vendere i tour (al fiume sotterraneo, ecc,). Siccome noi volevamo andare per conto nostro a Sabang. non ci hanno saputo indicare i pulmini con posti "shared" che costano molto meno di un taxi per una distanza simile.

Pros:

Les équipements, sauna hammam et la salle de sport sont très appréciables.
La piscine est bien aussi, mais peut être bruyante en fonction de l'affluence.
Le petit déjeuner est exceptionnel.

Cons:

Chambre qui sentait l'humidité et était un peu petite.
Déçu du matelas.

Pros:

All the people who works there are very friendly and accomodating and location is good... Restaurant food are really good and worth the price.

Cons:

Bedsheets doesn't feel freshly washed maybe I was wrong but for me it doesn't feel like it. And no facility or anything for toddlers/kids(like a play area or room) .must invest on something to make every room smells good or fresh because that's one thing every guests notice the smell of the place and the room
