Very unpleasant and underwhelming hotel.
Pros:

The hotel being located on Rizal Avenue was good. The selection at breakfast was also good.

Cons:

The hotel was severely run down, the rooms were not clean and we required a change of bed sheets as soon as we arrived as they were filthy (stained and smelt bad). Stained carpets, blinds and towels (which didn’t smell clean) were really unpleasant. The smell of dampness in corridors and rooms was very overwhelming and the walls were paper thin. We were woken up by corridor music being played at 7am and the staff with their walkie talkies really loud kept walking up and down at strange intervals.
Didn’t even use the pool facilities as the pool wasn’t well maintained and was covered in leaf and bugs and only 3-4 sun loungers.
Staff were not very helpful as asking even the most basic question of “can I confirm that the airport shuttle has been arranged for our departure” lead to staff being unable to answer and look to each other for help.

5-Star Quality, perfect location and amazing room size!
Pros:

I had family that visited Philippines for the first time and they really enjoyed breakfast with its variety of options on a daily basis. The room was quite spacious with cabinets to use. I am very particular about the mattress but yours was exceptionally comfortable! The staff was the icing on the cake - professional, courteous and always with a big smile!

Cons:

The pool was not big enough and we were not able to use the gazebo or outdoor space. I think it was not available due to the weather.
