Important information:

For wedding parties not exclusively hiring Le Bouchon for their celebrations there will be a GBP 250 surcharge on each room booked for the bride and bridesmaids. There will also be a further GBP 250 surcharge each for both photographers and videographers on the day.

Rooms are allocated on a first come, first served basis. The management will consider requests for specific rooms but cannot guarantee them.

Please note that guests will be charged if any damage or loss to the property occurs during a guests' stay.

All of our bedrooms are accessed via a staircase, due to being a Grade II listed building, we do not have a elevator. Please note that our Deluxe King, Classic King and Junior Suite rooms are located on the top floor, and require another set of stairs to access. Should you have limited mobility, or require assistance with stairs, please make our reception team aware upon booking so they can allocate you a first floor room subject to availability.

Pros:

Pros:

Very helpful obliging staff.
Room was comfortable and well equipped.
The breakfast choice was good and it was well cooked.
We also enjoyed our dinner very much.

Cons:

The stairs were very steep. It was OK for me but some elderly visitors might find it a problem.

after a week of staying in mediocre hotels, my last stay of the week was Le Bouchon, such a bonus.
Pros:

I was staying in Maldon for work and Le Bouchon was excellent comfortable, food excellent along with the service..

Absolutely lovely
Pros:

A really lovely hotel, beautiful interior, so relaxing, staff absolutely lovely will do anything for you, the beds were very comfortable, pillows amazing, vast choice of breakfast and all cooked fresh was really excellent, and right in the heart of maldon but tucked away an absolute gem. Emma and all the staff soo nice.

Cute little place, lovely greeting at reception by Henry who managed to swop us to a room with a bath (we only have a shower at home, so thank you!!) Warm and cosy. Lovely little pub almost opposite. Great find!

Pros:

the hotel had such a lovely feel about it - nothing was too much trouble for the staff

Cons:

i think it was just an unlucky night to eat at the restaurant - it seem overly busy which caused a big delay in us recieving our food - we waited nearly 50 minutes for starters, an hour for mains - my lobster was overcooked (with parpadelle) and was very chewy. we ordered drinks and then had to chase the barman

Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The hotel was lovely and comfortable. Will return.
