Location and reasonable priced parking directly across the road in church car park. Staff amazing . Room and bathroom small but, was all ok for one night away.

Our room was a great disappointment. Nothing like the photos on your advertising page, which looked great, ours was really small. Bathroom was miniscule.

Good location and excellent value for money.
The hotel is lovely with really welcoming staff. We stayed in the castle room with a four poster bed which was extra special. This was our second time in this hotel. I have just finished radiotherapy and this was a night before my surgery planning with my oncology team.
The hotel is off the main road so quieter and a short distance from places to eat with plenty of on road parking if you are less mobile. The hotel itself has a church opposite where you can park for your stay £8.50 per 24 hours with money going to the church.
We were back by 8.40. The bed was really comfy and we didnt hear noise from other guests/rooms.

It was very stuffy in my room and not easy to regulate the shower.
The public areas were very spacious and nicely decorated, and cool ( it was very hot weather !)
The meal in the evening was excellent and very good value. The continental breakfast was excellent and ample.

The bedroom was a bit on the small size for a double room, with limited clothes storage space. We were only there one night so it was not a problem, and next time we stay ( and we will be staying again) we will upgrade to a larger room if one is available.
