That it is close to my doctor I see. The coziness of the room and the friendly staff,plus the hot tub and pool, is a bonus. And the breakfast is nice to have.
The room above us sounded like they were in track and field. 2 in the morning wasn't a great time.

We had a very good stay at this property, it is conveniently located in the south end of Regina. The Front desk staff are super friendly and were able to accommodate my request for a scent free room. The room was quiet, clean, spacious and well maintained. We enjoyed relaxing in the pool/hot tub, there is a gym on site if you want to work out. The breakfast in the morning was great with many options to choose from. We will be back the next time we travel to the area.
This is a 2-3 star hotel which has not been renovated in almost 7 years.
Recently, a new GM by the name of Vanessa Nezamloo is now running things, seems they have a problem getting people to stay here as they go thru a lot of staff.
Vanessa, talks out the side of her mouth if you know what I mean ("tells you what you would like to hear at that moment, not genuine person"). "IMO"
Vanessa and her team have fallen way short on what it means to service Marriott Elite members.
If premier service is what you expect; then this is not the hotel you want to stay at.
I would strongly recommend other Marriott properties in the area or near downtown which are more convenient to other services, Casino, etc...
I currently hold platinum status, lifetime silver elite status, and am now approaching 7 years come December and my gold lifetime status.
I travel approx 50 plus times a year or more just with the Marriott alone and also participate in other reward programs and am a Founders Club vip member the past 3 years.
If you expect more as an elite traveller/VIP Marriott Elite Member you will not receive it here as they say everyone gets treated the same.
So then ask yourself, what is the program in place for? Now to share my thoughts on the facilities - My unbiased opinion.
The restaurant and many amenities are showing signs of age all over the hotel, the rooms have stains on the furniture, the tv's don't work in some of the rooms and on occasion I have seen mice in the rooms, the front street after dark is a drag strip, the food is mediocre at London Belle and their service is lacking and breakfast is hardly edible most of the times I skip it all together.
The pool and hot tub area are in dire need of repair "pool liner is gone and the hottub is normally out of service and constantly in need of repair".
I recently tried to share my most recent visit concerns with Wade Probe the CFO of the investment firm PR Investments or YQR Ventures that owns the property and he wouldn't even bother to give me 10 minutes of his time to hear my feedback.
Guess he is either a busy guy or just in denial; but simply doesn't want any constructive feedback from customers which is why they don't provide their details anywhere.
So I figured the review was the best way to address this then; since I'm not returning I will leave my honest feedback for others to see as they didn't want to address any concerns at the hotel level.
They are happy to take your money, but find feedback difficult.
