The Garden Rooms are separate from the main building and are at the rear of the hotel. These rooms are our only dog-friendly rooms. They have a small garden area with an outdoor terrace and seating and views of Southwold Lighthouse.
Dogs are charged at £15 per dog per night, the hotel itself is not dog friendly.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation.

A wonderful hotel as always
The bed in our room was v lumpy and not great for bad backs! Everything else was as lovely as always though.
It’s just perfect. The choice of seating areas was perfect for us as a couple to relax rather than having to leave the property.

Parking, reception, breakfast.
The room was too warm overnight, even with the rads turned to zero. There was noise from above eg snoring and running water.
Location, the town , feeling safe, people, staff, just a complete superb place.
Personally, main meals in the Hotel felt too upmarket, would have eaten in if more middle of the road dishes were available.

Really quirky room with modern four poster and walk in shower, comfortable bed. Coffee machine, lots of lovely towels, robes and slippers and even shoe rack hidden away in wardrobe. Staff were all really nice. Nothing seemed too much trouble for them. Ate dinner in the restaurant once and there was a good atmosphere, good service and dessert was extremely delicious..
