Room with amazing view. Clean, comfortable and ideal base for short break. Obliging staff. All welcomed our 7yr old granddaughter.
A comment rather than a negative: tables clean but very sticky.
Ideal location - just steps away from Blakeney Quay. Beautifully decorated in neutral tones. Our room- a superior de luxe - was large and comfortable. The car park, although not large , had spaces each time we needed to park.
The property is very old with the original staircase - steep, narrow and twisty. We are both in our eighties and were only able to cope with the stairs thanks to suitably placed handrails.
Loved our room with its own access and living room
Perfectly placed for exploring the area. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good food and drink. Very clean and comfortable.
Great Breakfast. Good restaurant and Bar. The friendly staff.
We enjoyed small quality touches that went beyond what we were expecting, fresh milk in our room for drinks , decent toiletries, beds and a reserved parking space when we arrived!
Not much space just to have a drink as we had had a large lunch! , small courtyard was available, which we used but couldn’t understand why small room/ lounge inside wasn’t offered.
Great hotel, great location.
Recently purchased by new owners so was informed it will be Getting an overall to make it even better .
Tidying up, few extra touches .
More variety on the continental breakfast an dinner menu.
Great location , nice decor , room was very comfy. Barman and breakfast server friendly and efficient. The premises had a nice feel to it and on the whole we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It is ideally placed in our view to explore the north Norfolk coastline
Parking is a lottery - reserved parking bollards available but moved / ignored by other drivers. I assume there are the same amount of parking spaces as there are hotel rooms ? If that’s the case allocate clearly a parking space to each room to stop the lottery. Restaurant was packed which bodes well of course for the hotel but suspect several of the hotel resident only parking bays were taken , on street parking is limited and whilst there is a pay and display car park 2 mins away , parking overnight is not allowed. Wife really looking forward to sampling the crab dishes on the menu but no crab was available which with the hotel being so close to the crab capital of the world (Cromer) was disappointing. Departed early and was told a staff member would be on site at 0730 but no one was present.
Evening meals were good.
The bed was small, dont think it is a full double. The mattress was lumpy and still had a winter duvet on. The breakfast tables are too small and we're sticky. The fruit salad was peel your own orange and the breakfasts tended to be overcooked.
