We loved the history and story behind the Alaskan hotel , its era , its décor , the richness of fabrics , interior decor , plush velvet beautifully decorated bedrooms

Karl , was very obliging and offered us an amazing bedroom with no extra cost on our second night which we really appreciated experiencing its uniqueness and charm , so a big thank you to Karl

Cons:

- De reuk van het toilet in wc/douche is het enige wat tegenviel.
- Niet negatief, enkel ter info : Bij zo een oud hotelletje kan je geen lift verwachten, je sleurt je bagage de trap op en het is "Hotel en Bar", dus kan je ook geen stille kamer verwachten.

Sehr originelles Hotel für historisch interessierte Gäste.
Pros:

Die sehr originelle Einrichtung hat mir gefallen. Daraus resultierende Einschränkungen hinsichtlich des Komforts und der Ausstattung waren mussten akzeptiert werden.

Cons:

Der fehlende Teekocher im Zimmer, der auf Nachfrage nachgereicht wurde und
die etwas antiquierte Badeinrichtung.

Historic hotel with character. Good value in great location.
Pros:

Super location, great value. Historic building with neat old photos in the hallways. Nice to have been able to get a room with a fridge and private bath.

Cons:

It feels a bit run down, with old carpets in the hallway, and bedroom walls that need paint.

Odd, old hotel, felt like it was channelling all the hotel/saloons in movies, would def vote for most haunted hotel in Juneau. Easy to walk to things, no lobby to hang out, you have to go to the bar. Did what i needed it to.
