stay was good but booking and reception was not up to the mark
Pros:

i booked my room but through booking .com but unfortunately it was not in your system. i got all the confirmation mail etc. after booking. i wasted a lot of time in reception and then i had to do fresh booking and cancelled the old one.

I was at Southern Sun for a short night but it was worth it!
Pros:

Easily able to arrange transportation from airport
Roomed quickly and easily

het ontbijtbuffet was heerlijk

Cons:

een breakfast box voor een early check out was ons beloofd de dag ervoor, maar 'ochtends stond er helaas niest klaar. Dit werd wel snel opgelost door de nachtwaker: de koks waren al bezig en we konden zelf snel een box gaan samenstellen . Eind goed al goed.

All was good best place to explore Mozambique and the beach right from the comfort of your room

The cross over dinner was superb

Hearing the sound of the waves as you sleep is 1 feeling that’s unmatched

Cons:

We had a communication breakdown regarding the cross over dinner .18:00-22:00

They can try extend it to 01:00am or 20:00-00:00 to keep guest in 1 place

Southern Sun Maputo ist eine Oase. Würde immer wiederkommen.
Pros:

Die Lage, das Zimmer (Ambassador Suite) und das Frühstück.

Cons:

Die Preise im Restaurant sind zu hoch. Wir hatten dreimal Frühstück und dreimal erlebten wir, dass Essensprodukte keinen festen Platz haben.

Cons:

The hotel security are too overzealous & dont treat guests with respect. They give the place a bad image. There weren't enough pool chairs & some guests hoarded chairs that they weren't using at all & management did nothing at all. The 2nd breakfast area (overflow) did not have the same food variety as the first area.

For the price i paid, i really expected more than the experience i got.
