Enjoyed the stay thanks to the staff and location.
Pros:

The location is excellent. The pool area is great. The staff are excellent. They are very willing to assist and always attentive.

Cons:

The hotel has aged badly. It was built in 1964 and very little has been upgraded. Frankly speaking, I’m surprised that it gets 5 stars in its present condition. I haven’t seen a “shower in the bath” set up in a 5 star hotel for 15 years. Great pity that no maintenance or upgrades have been done. It could easily be on a par with The Oyster Box. There are many areas where the paint is flaking and falling off the walls.

Ask if the hotel is under renovation when booking!!
Pros:

It was under renovations and the roof collapsed making it highly unpleasant overall, not a holiday but a nightmare , my once a year vacation was filled with anxiety and distress not what I hoped or paid for

Easy access to the beach. Rooms face the ocean. Pool area has exceptional views . Can have breakfast there .

Cons:

It was very hot and room aircon was on the lowest temp but the room was not cold. It was cool but not for the weather

I will probably not return to stay at Beverly Hills unless they can offer us a room that works
Pros:

The staff at Beverly were exceptional but the hotel is very tired. Balcony door couldn't slide open, toilet pan was loose, aircon leaked but was quickly repaired, TV didn't work too well, no instructions on TV and coffee machine

Cons:

Service standards of staff was very good & professional

We had an ejoyable holiday.
Pros:

Super friendly staff and superb food. The location can not be beaten! Pool is sparkling and warm.

Cons:

Hotel is in serious need of repair. Waiters need some training, e.g. don't remove my plate if my untensils are in the 'pause' position. Took 3 telephone calls to explain to room service what Sauvignon blanc was.
