Perfect boutique style hotel on the Buda side (quiet at night which was very nice), with a great bistro cafe attached.
Pros:

Beautiful rooms and cozy dining area.
Perfect location for exploring the Buda side of the river.

Cons:

No elevator but it wasn’t a hardship.

My stay at this hotel was a real pleasure! The room was spacious, spotlessly clean and furnished with attention to every detail, the style of the furnishings is impressive, and the bed was extremely comfortable.

The breakfast was varied and very tasty, with a wide selection of fresh products. The common areas of the hotel were also excellently maintained and created a feeling of comfort and tranquility. The service was at the highest level - the staff was always responsive, professional and ready to help.

The hotel offers an excellent ratio between quality and price and definitely exceeded my expectations. I recommend it with both hands to anyone looking for comfort, excellent service and a pleasant atmosphere. I would be happy to stay here again!

Spectacular
Pros:

Excellent location, right near the presidential palace and Matthias Church. Fisherman's Bastion is one of the best views of the city and only a 2 min walk from the hotel. The hotel room was spectacular, clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Great Hotel on Castle Hill on the Buda side

We stayed at this wonderful hotel for five days. The staff were always friendly and professional towards every encounter. The rooms were in great condition, A/C worked well which was a positive, due to the heatwave going on during our stay. The restaurant is a very nice place to eat at. We ate there on several occasions. Thanks to the entire staff at Pest-Buda for making our stay most enjoyable

We stayed at this wonderful hotel for five days. The staff were always friendly and professional towards every encounter. The rooms were in great condition, A/C worked well which was a positive, due to the heatwave going on during our stay. The restaurant is a very nice place to eat at. We ate there on several occasions. Bus 16 is about a two minute walk to the hotel. Thanks to the entire staff at Pest-Buda for making our stay most enjoyable.

Buda Best
Pros:

The hotel is in a beautiful location, which is both quiet and intimate, and on the other hand, very close to the castle's attractions. The interior is carefully thought out, beautiful and functional. The hotel staff is very friendly and the breakfasts are delicious! I highly recommend an evening walk to the castle plateau.

The hotel is perfectly situated in a top location. Staff were fantastic. Offered help and spent time communicating with us. Facilities were lovely. We had breakfast included which was well worth it. Lots of options.

Charming boutique hotel
Pros:

Excellent facilities and nicely upgraded. The AC worked great and the location was amazing, right in the center of the Buda Castle. The bathroom has everything to you need, and there is coffee and tea in the room.

Cons:

Not the hotel’s fault, but I didn’t realized the hotel is in an old building and there is no elevator. We were on the second floor, no not a big deal, but is good for people to know there is no elevator.

Best hotel on our trip

What a pleasure it was to stay in this charming hotel dating back to 1696.

The staff were very friendly and obliging for an early arrival.
A lovely dinner was served in the restaurant that had a great atmosphere.
Best hotel that we have stayed in during our 6 week trip and very central to the Castle area.

​We had a truly memorable stay at Pest-Buda Design Hotel and I highly recommend it!

​The location is simply fabulous: The hotel is located right in the heart of the Buda Castle District, in a gorgeous, quiet, and extremely elegant historic area. It is just a stone's throw away from Matthias Church and the Fisherman's Bastion, making it the perfect base for exploring Budapest.

​The room was absolutely fabulous: Very clean, beautifully decorated, with a tasteful modern design that perfectly blends with the historic charm of the building. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the attention to detail was noticeable in every corner.

​Impeccable service: The staff was incredibly kind, professional, and attentive to absolutely every need we had, making us feel genuinely welcome.

​The food at the restaurant and the great atmosphere on the terrace perfectly rounded out a wonderful vacation. We will definitely return here every time we visit Budapest!
