A good hotel for a short break.
Pros:

This is our second time at the Trearddur Bay and we had another good ‘value for money’ stay. The two restaurants serve a limited menu but the food is good quality and plentiful.

My only negative comment would be over the standards of cleanliness and although the hotel is in no way dirty, improvements are needed to make the place shine like a pin.

The carpet in our room (Room 1) is marked and stained and the mat by the patio door is a bit tatty and has seen better days.

The ripped chair seats in the Inn at the
Bay (round the circular table on the raised dog friendly section) are not a good advert for the hotel.

The standards would not put us off going back to this hotel as it is good value all round but improving the cleanliness and general standards would get better feedback and customer satisfaction.

Very pleasant stay
Pros:

We had a lovely two night stay at the hotel on a bed and breakfast and dinner with wine included. It was an amazing price.
We stayed alongside friends and had a superb stay. Hotel was spotless and the staff were extremely pleasant. The food was lovely too. Would highly recommend this hotel.

A fabulous February flash offer!
Pros:

We took advantage of a 'February flash sale offer' and were so pleased we did. In addition to our generous meal allowance, we had a £10 voucher towards drinks on the Sunday evening.
This helped make the break super affordable.
It was not only affordable, but very enjoyable, as we had a very comfortable and clean room looking out over the bay, We found the stairs very steep though!
We had dinner in the restaurant the first evening, with the biggest cheese board I have ever seen. (Steph kindly provided a doggy bag!)
We booked the Tavern on the bay for our second night and again, the choices were varied, the quality excellent and the service? Immaculate and friendly.
All the staff were very professional.
Cannot fault it.

Lovely short break
Pros:

We have just returned from a 2 night stay at the hotel. The weather was awful but this did not detract from a really great and welcome short break. We have stayed at the hotel before (6 yrs ago) and it is fair to stay that the original high standards have been maintained if not built on. All the usual accommodation requirements were easily met and the food at breakfast and in the inn in the evening was really good.
However no hospitality these days can exist without the use of great staff. From the welcome from Vicky in reception to the au revoir from Angela at same, the service was exemplary. Staff at breakfast, bar staff - all were very personable and wanting to engage as well as deliver a good service.
A very enjoyable short break - we will return.

Lovely peaceful hotel and location
Pros:

Lovely peaceful hotel in fantastic location. We had a room looking out on to the rocks and sea , idyllic .
Room very clean , comfy and spacious , could not fault . Bathroom clean , basic but fine .
We ate in the bar restaurant and the food was good and well priced , staff throughout the hotel were very good to deal with.
Breakfast , the self serve cereal type breakfast was poor in content, little of nothing really ,dissapointed .Main breakfast not self serve, although the plate was plentiful , it lacked the wow appeal , and presentation was poor. I had the full breakfast which was nice, my only gripe was I chose scrambled eggs , and the portion size was poor .
The service in the breakfast room was good though.

Very well looked after at this lovely hotel
Pros:

We have just returned from this Hotel after a fabulous 2 night stay We were a group of 3 couples.
This is a great hotel and it is the staff that make it great! Every single member went above and beyond to help, and did so with enthusiasm and friendly efficiency.
Special mention to Sam, who took our ribbing with such good humour, good luck with your wrestling career.
Book your stay, have a lovely break in a beautiful area.
You will not be disappointed.

Great hotel with fantastic staff
Pros:

Third time staying at this hotel, there is nothing at all to complain about. Good location and food is excellent but the staff are what makes it really stand out for us, they honestly can’t do enough for you and are so friendly and efficient. We stayed in a sea view room with balcony, very comfortable and clean, with all facilities you’d expect, fridge, tea and coffee, toiletries, good tv, robes etc. worth every penny. Great walks nearby with amazing views. Definitely recommend.

Last minute stopover
Pros:

Decided to stay one night on way back from Ireland. Arrived late evening. Lovely and quiet. Night manager Sam was very helpful and accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. Made to feel very welcome. Morning staff also professional and friendly. Stones throw from the bay. Would definitely stay here again if on Anglesey.

Terrific Trearddur
Pros:

This hotel overlooks the sea front and they offer dog friendly rooms as well as non dog rooms. They have a large variety of rooms with different views and cater to all requests. The reception/reservation team are very familiar with the hotel and also give tips on where to go around the island. Upon arrival they do have a porter service if you need it and you are made to feel welcome from the moment you arrive. Both restaurants are superb, the first night we tried the mussels which were divine. The finer dining restaurant was quiet and is nicely laid out for privacy. The second night we had a Sunday roast which was delicious, this was in the pub type bar on the other side of the hotel. Breakfast is also a lavish affair with plenty of choice. The hotel also caters to dietary requirements if requested in advance. You get to see stunning sunrises every morning and the beach is a 1 minute stroll across the road. The pool is indoor and warm, it has changing facilities and is clean. The hotel offers towels for pool use. Overall this is a well run hotel with passionate staff and a stunning location.

Two day stay
Pros:

Lovely area, great hotel. Food pretty good. Drinks overpriced, as they are in many places. Very helpful and welcoming staff. Great to see Melanie again, she's been there many years, I'd love her to work for me!

Ok
Pros:

Staff were professional and courteous, shower was tepid and slow. The room was ready 2 hours earlier than stated, which raised my suspicions. The bed had sand in it, the bathroom had mould on the ceiling. The radiator in the room was only hot at the top. Excellent hotel if you have dogs

Missing the wow factor
Pros:

Amazing views, location and breakfast. Reception staff ok, restaurant and bar staff very friendly. Room basic, again amazing view saving it. No interest or information for electric car charging despite emails prior to stay. Frustratingly 2 other guests stayed plugged in for 24hrs so we couldn't charge. Attended a wedding. Function room and entrance struffy and cold. Some parts really good, some not good, just lacking wow factor

Lovely Christmas Day lunch
Pros:

Me and the family spent Christmas Day for lunch in the Inn. From booking to the main event, communication and service was really excellent. The food was delicious, and again the service went above and beyond, and we had a lovely day. Thank you to all the staff, you really made the day special.
