Cabinas Tropicales Puerto Jimenez

Muy mala experiencia ya que el mismo día del check in recibo un mensaje que el establecimiento se habia confundido de fecha y no tenía espacio

Grounds were beautiful. Good security. Nice communal kitchen. Clean, safe place to stay. Good value. This is small thing, but did not impress. Manager wanted cash only. Said he did not have change. Said he would get it, but never did. It was only a few dollars, so we did not pursue. Also had sense that he was regulating our air conditioning without consulting with us.

Basic but functional. We were getting up early to take a hike into Corcovado National Park but the guests in the next room were talking loudly and the sound travelled VERY easily into our room, making it difficult to fall asleep.

The owner was helpful and let us leave the rest of our stuff there for no charge while we were in the park, which was very nice of him.

I loved being able to see the stars and Orion directly overhead while showering in the outdoor shower of the Garden Room (the 'garden' is a small corner with a hammock).

Right next to airport, clean rooms, owner was very helpful as he has long experience living in that area

We needed a place with air conditioning to get out of the heat. The room cooled down nicely and we had a comfortable stay on a new mattress. Mark was quite helpful, and there are nice beachfront restaurants less than five minutes walk away.

The place is simple - bed(s) and bathroom. It's very small, no frills. It has what you need. When we arrived, the air condition wasn't working. The owner was quick to reset the braker, but when we woke up, it wasn't working again along with the light, making it difficult to pack in the dark when leaving early. The owner lives on the property and is willing to help when needed. He has bikes for use around town, which is close.

Great staff. Let 5 of us leave luggage and car on property while we hiked the rainforest for 3 days.

We had a great experience during our stay. With new guest coming in daily to hike it allowed us to meet people from all over map. All guest were respectful of the shared kitchen space and people were respectful in the morning and evening when other had to get to sleep or get up early.
OSA is a hidden gem!

I made reservation through Orbitz and received confirmation but was told when I arrived that room was not available. I can't review the hotel because I didn't stay and I couldn't find a way to cancel within the Orbitz site that didn't send me into a loop. I don't want this to appear as a review but I would like confirmation of my not having stayed there.

Cabinas Tropicales is quiet and centrally located in Puerto Jimenez. It has a nice covered outdoor common area with large tables with a refrigerator, stove and food storage area. There are also bikes to use in town.

Mattress was not comfortable, Mark was an excellent host and community kitchen was well stocked

En härlig vistelse i en lugn och fridfull miljö. Bra service av ägaren Mark. Härlig trädgård, vår sista natt hade vi en egen liten trädgård där vi njöt av en kall öl efter tre dagar med hiking i Corcovado nationalpark.
