Het is een prima hotel. Ruime kamers en het bed was prima. Personeel extreem aardig.
Buffet ontbijt en diner met prima opties.
Locatie is een beetje afgelegen. Je moet 20 min met de taxi / Tuktuk naar Sigiriya.
Locatie is niet in de buurt van een dorp / supermarkt.

Parc arboré avec une grande piscine. Chambres spacieuses et très confortables, environnement calme, personnel agréable et souriant.

Friendly staff who went out of their way to make the stay enjoyable. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the kids loved the pool.

The hotel had a good location. We got a complimentary room upgrade with a stunning view. Breakfast was rich and tasty, and the staff were incredibly helpful.

The hotel looks nice, the decor is good. There is a great pool.
The organisation is woeful.
We had to change rooms, because the room type we had booked was not ready when we arrived. We were given a deluxe room, one grade lower than booked, and a free drink each as compensation. No tonic or lemonade available so no G&T as requested. The room had a noisy fan, an uncomfortable bed, AC which was stuck at full speed, an electronic safe that could only be used with a key and no mini fridge.
The new room (superior deluxe) has missing bathrobes and no telephone. The robes had to be chased several times.
On arrival back after our first day out, our room had not been cleaned. We were advised that we had to leave our key at reception when going out and put the 'clean me' sign on the door. This was not advised and is not like any other hotel I've stayed at!
Pool times were advertised on the pool sign as 7am-9pm albeit reception staff advised that it opened at 7.30am. We tried to take an early dip but was told by the pool guy that it wouldn't open til 8. One morning they ran out of pool towels even though there were half a dozen guests.
We ate at the buffet which was passable. Some things were incorrectly labelled (chicken was actually fish). Not sure why previous guests have reviewed the food as incredible or delicious. Also had to pay for water at breakfast which is a first for us.
There were so many issues, we pursued the difference in room rate and that the free drinks would suffice as inconvenience for having to change rooms - we just wanted to pay for what we had in the way of rooms: 1 night deluxe rate and 2 at superior deluxe. After a lot of discussion and re-explaining, they deducted $15 per room.
In all, there are some really lovely staff there who are friendly and well meaning - they just need some training.The rooms are spacious and the pool is huge. The hotel has the potential to be great
