Pros:

Un superbe séjour. Nous serions bien restés plus longtemps.
Pros:

On aime la localisation sur la plage avec un spot pour snorkeling accessible a pied depuis la plage juste sur la droite au bout de la plage. On aime la décoration générale du lieu, le personnel très accueillant et professionnel. Le restaurant sur place avec un superbe petit déjeuner, english breakfast, traditionnal sri lankan et un delicieux yaourt avec granola et fruits frais. Les plats du midi sont composés de poissons frais grillés et gambas, délicieux également. Une literie confortable. Des chambres propres avec la clim et un petit balcon. Des salles de bain agréables, propres et fonctionnelles. L'endroit aux alentours est calme. Parfait pour se reposer.

Cons:

Nos chambres étaient un peu petites.

Für 2 Nächte war es ok.
Pros:

Wir hatten das Zimmer in der ersten Etage gebucht und durften dann aber ein Zimmer in der 2. Etage beziehen.
Aus diesem Zimmer hatte man einen sehr schönen Blick auf das Meer. Das Personal war stets freundlich und bemüht.

Cons:

Das Hotel ist leider wirklich schon in die Jahre gekommen. Im Bad müsste mal dringend Hand angelegt werden.
Leider gab es am Strand keine Möglichkeit um sich in den Schatten zu verkrümeln.
Die Bilder im Internet haben nicht wirklich zum aktuellen Stand gepasst.

It was fine… for a building site
Pros:

It was good to be in Trincomalee itself on arrival - handy for early morning visit to fort. They very kindly provided a free driver and tuk tuk to take us up to their very fancy hotel on Uppuveli beach (which we couldn’t afford to stay in!!)

Cons:

The hotel was gearing up for beginning of the season (mid -April/May. It was therefore effectively a building site and no facilities (bar etc) available other than room. Common areas very very dusty due to building work. They probably should have been closed and not accepting guests (only us!!)

Nicht wie erhofft
Pros:

Wir waren in der Zeit des Zyklon dort im Hotel und die ganze Zeit die einzigen Gäste. Hier hätten wir uns mehr Aufmerksamkeit gewünscht.
Bei gutem Wetter ist das Hotel sicher sehr schön und wirklich gleich am Stand, der dann sicher auch sehr schön ist.

Cons:

Leider nicht wirklich viel Aufmerksamkeit. Wir mussten darauf aufmerksam machen, dass die Fenster die Regenmassen nicht halten und das Zimmer überschwemmt wird. Keine Hilfe bei z. B. Verpflegung. Das Frühstück war sehr eintönig.

Pros:

Es ist ok; die Lage ist gut, weil man direkt am Strand ist, nach ca 20 min Fußweg ist man im Zentrum. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich!

Cons:

Preis/Leistung hat nicht gepasst, die Zimmer sind doch sehr einfach ausgestattet, wir hatten während unseres Aufenthalts nie warmes Wasser in der Dusche. Auf das Frühstück musste man lange warten, obwohl fast nichts los war.
Ich möchte nochmals die Freundlichkeit des Personals lobend erwähnen, aber in Summe ist das Hotel für diesen Preis nicht empfehlenswert; wir hatten ein teureres Zweibettzimmer mit Balkon.

Главные достоинства отеля - это виды с балкона и сотрудники, радушные, всегда готовы помочь. Номер удобный, хотя и необычный компоновкой. Прекрасный ужин и завтрак были заслугой команды поваров. Жаль, что янаарь не сезон

Nice boho hotel in need of a little TLC
Pros:

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The balcony was most welcome. The breakfast was delicious.
Guests are allowed to use the pool at Uppeveli Beach by DSK, which is a sister hotel. This was a real bonus!! The hotel even paid for the transfer! 💚

Cons:

Sadly, no hot shower.
The room was a little small and cramped and the TV cut out intermittently.

The view from our room was of a red galvanised iron roof and did not reflect the online photograph of same.
No hot water for the 4 night stay.
No shampoo provided or water provided to make a drink in the room.
