For the money should have been a lot better

The room didn’t have a couch as advertised. Once relocated to our room with a couch, it was not as it was in the picture with the wall, dividing the two spaces. The TV volume didn’t work. The beds were uncomfortable went down at 9:30 for breakfast on Sunday. It was full of food but we’re told by the staff they were closed. Seems like on a weekend. The breakfast could be till 10 AM and if there’s still food laying there that it could be eaten instead of thrown away was also overcharged. They charged me $10 over the final price booked on Booking.com. I brought it up to them and still no adjustment. Also there is a five dollar parking charge that wasn’t advertised.

Over priced for Motel features.

Basic maintenance of room was cheaply fixed. Blinds in room were “cut” diagonally. Shower had a door at one point and clearly broke off. Hotel fixed this by simply adding a curtain, for a “King Suite”. Other bathroom fixtures were broken or falling apart.

My getaway
Pros:

I liked the area, me and my wife usually uses this area foe a little get away a couple times a year...we usually use another hotel...this time the other hotel's rates went up. 😪

Cons:

The floor was not clean, makes me wonder if the bedding was clean.

Paying for parking. Ants in the room. Walls were thin, floor above us had loud footsteps. Bedspread was scratchy. Staff couldn’t get the digital key to work so had to check in physically at front desk. Was charged for hotel after I already prepaid through booking.com and had to call hotel to refund the double charge.
