Directions from JR Shin-Okubo Station:
- At the exit of the station, turn left into Okubo-dori street, and walk for about 328 feet.
- At the corner of the super market next to Tokyo Plaza Hotel, turn right.
- Walk straight on for about 262 feet, until you see the Shin Okubo Sekitei on the right side of the street.
-- The property looks out on a narrow side-street, which branches off from the main street. This side-street might be a bit hard to find for a first-time guest. We strongly recommend printing out the map or the pictures in this page in advance.

Pros:

Stanza bellissima e staff veramente gentile e disponibile; ci hanno pure aiutato a spedire i bagagli all'aeroporto di osaka. La stanza era tenuta pulitissima e siamo stati molto bene.

Cons:

Nonostante ci sia la stazione a due passi, ma non è colpa della struttura ovviamente, è per una linea JR e non un stazione per la metro

Pros:

This was already my 4th time staying here in Tokyo, and honestly, this place never disappoints. 🇯🇵✨

Every time I come back, the experience is still just as good as the first time — maybe even better.

The rooms are always very clean, spacious, and comfortable, even for 2 people with large luggage. Everything is well-maintained, the atmosphere feels cozy, and after a long day exploring Tokyo, it genuinely feels nice coming back here to rest.

But what really makes this place special for me is the service.

The staff here are incredibly helpful every single time. During this trip, they even helped arrange the delivery of both of our large luggage bags from Tokyo to Kyoto. They handled the whole process for us from start to finish — we literally just paid and they took care of everything else. It made traveling between cities so much easier and stress-free.

That level of hospitality and care is honestly one of the main reasons why I keep choosing to stay here again and again whenever I visit Tokyo.

Another thing I love is the location in Shin-Okubo. The area is super lively with so many restaurants, cafés, convenience stores, Don Quijote, shopping spots, and food places everywhere. Even late at night, the neighborhood still feels energetic but safe to walk around.

And despite being in such a vibrant area, it’s also incredibly convenient — only around 10 minutes to Shinjuku.

If anyone is looking for a comfortable, convenient, and genuinely service-minded place to stay in Tokyo, I really recommend this place so much.

Definitely one of my favorite stays in Tokyo every single trip. ☁️

Posizione perfetta e staff gentilissimo
Pros:

Posizione perfetta, a 5 minuti dalla Yamanote Line che permette di raggiungere tutti i luoghi principali di Tokyo.
Stanza in stile giapponese carina, diversa dal solito.
Staff cordialissimo e disponibile. Servizi molto utili e non scontati, come un ombrello gratis da portare nelle giornate dI pioggia. Kit per per il bagno, collutorio, spazzolini ecc..

Cons:

Purtroppo (per la mia stanza, non so se per tutte è così) la non possibilità di aprire una finestra per far passare un po d’aria, ma la stanza è dotata di ventola per il ricambio d’aria.

Love the staff, loved the stay.
Pros:

Lovely personnel, very very helpful and kind.
The location is amazing, you have everything around the corner. The metro station is close and well connected to other metro lines. The futon is comfortable.

Cons:

You have to walk through a short darker street to get to the location, however it feels very safe.
