Directions from JR Shin-Okubo Station:
- At the exit of the station, turn left into Okubo-dori street, and walk for about 328 feet.
- At the corner of the super market next to Tokyo Plaza Hotel, turn right.
- Walk straight on for about 262 feet, until you see the Shin Okubo Sekitei on the right side of the street.
-- The property looks out on a narrow side-street, which branches off from the main street. This side-street might be a bit hard to find for a first-time guest. We strongly recommend printing out the map or the pictures in this page in advance.

Excellent place in Tokyo!
Pros:

As said before the location is amazing, central but not noisy at all. The futons were very comfy and the room size was good too. I forgot my reader there and they kept it for me for 10 days as I was out of Tokyo which I really appreciated!

Lovely little hotel, very friendly staff, very clean, amazing location

I liked the price, the location, the cleanliness and the friendliness of the staff

Cons:

The bed/pillows were slightly uncomfortable, and the bathroom was dated. However this needs to be taken in context of the price. The price was cheap for the location, so I cannot expect it to be perfect.

Pros:

The hotel might look a bit outdated from outside, but trust me, as soon as you get in the rooms you'll get an amazing feeling, you're getting a traditional tatami room, with all the facilities you'll need, the bathroom is great and the location of the hotel is great if you don't want to be right in the center of the caos of Tokyo but still near everything since the Yamanote Line is 5 minutes a by walk. Also the staff is really friendly and useful, would 100% recommend to everyone!
