- At the exit of the station, turn left into Okubo-dori street, and walk for about 328 feet.
- At the corner of the super market next to Tokyo Plaza Hotel, turn right.
- Walk straight on for about 262 feet, until you see the Shin Okubo Sekitei on the right side of the street.
-- The property looks out on a narrow side-street, which branches off from the main street. This side-street might be a bit hard to find for a first-time guest. We strongly recommend printing out the map or the pictures in this page in advance.

Great value in Tokyo
Pros:

If you’re looking for a spacious room in Japan, especially in the Shinjuku area, this hotel is a great choice. The room was much larger than what you would normally expect in Tokyo.

The futons were very comfortable.

Having a washing machine and dryer was a huge advantage, especially for a longer stay. The location is excellent, with convenience stores, restaurants, and public transportation all within walking distance.

The staff were the highlight of our stay. Everyone was incredibly kind, friendly, and always happy to help. I would gladly stay here again, even just because of their amazing hospitality. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Tokyo.

In love with this place
Pros:

Everything was perfect. Great location, very spacious and clean room, which was tidied up every day. The staff were really helpful and friendly. Highly recommended.

Amazing staff and top location
Pros:

Hotel staff is really kind and helpful! Appreciated their support and explanations. Room was spacious and comfortable, well equipped and bright. Location is perfectly connected to the Shin Okubo station (few minutes walk) but still quiet and away from the noise.

Cons:

There is no elevator in the hotel so keep that in mind especially if you have heavy luggage. Staff is very kind and will definitely help you out but sometimes there are only girls at the reception and it doesn’t feel good to have them carrying heavy luggage. Room requires some general maintenance intervention.

Un très bon emplacement avec un couchage traditionnel
Pros:

Cette guesthouse est placée dans un quartier animé mais dans une rue calme, à quelques pas de la Yamanote Line, qui amène à tous les endroits touristiques de Tokyo.
Le personnel est accueillant et serviable, ils parlent relativement bien anglais. Nous avons pu envoyé nos bagages à l'hôtel suivant très facilement grâce à eux. La réception ouverte 24h/24 est un vrai plus.
La chambre était spacieuse pour deux personnes et décorée de manière traditionnelle avec les tatamis et les futons au sol, ainsi que les fenêtres shoji.

Cons:

Seul inconvénient dans la chambre où nous étions, pas de rideaux ni de voilage sur une des fenêtres, or le soleil se levait de ce côté et taper très fort dès 4h30 du matin: pas facile de se rendormir.

コスパよくいい宿泊体験ができました。多少の不便は許容範囲内のものしかなかったので総合的に素晴らしいです。
Pros:

ネットで予約してだいぶ安く泊まることができました。新大久保にすぐアクセスできるのでとても便利でした。

Cons:

シャワーの設備が少し動きにくいところがありました。
ポットを使うために寝室の延長コードのところまで持って行かないといけなかったのも少し手間でした。
