Good location and a relaxing stay.
Pros:

We liked the hotel for its location, comfort and breakfast. We found it very peaceful and relaxing and had a good night's sleep. This is not the first time we have been here and it won't be our last

Great place to stay in Sidmouth
Pros:

Our room was spotless with a very comfortable super king bed. Easy walk into town. Good breakfast and excellent evening meals, well worth booking in to eat. Perfectly cooked pre-ordered meals with fresh vegetables. All staff were so friendly and welcoming. Would highly recommend.

Cons:

There’s nothing not to like really. It’s a little old fashioned in places and I’m not sure whether there were any facilities (like getting a drink or sandwich) available during the daytime. It’s more like an upmarket B&B than a hotel in the conventional sense.

A game of 2 halves.
Pros:

After a bad experience first night in a ‘cosy’ room, we were moved to the annexe which had oodles of room and a comfortable king bed.

Cons:

The cosy room first night. Small double bed and toilet and shower in separate cupboards.
Though cooked breakfast good, there was a lack of fresh fruit.

A pleasant and welcoming stay with excellent cuisine.
Pros:

The food was very good with a varied and interesting dinner menu each night. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The grounds included a large grassed area with welcome trees to create shade in the very hot weather.

Cons:

Given the very hot weather air conditioning would have been desirable but fans were supplied.

Comfortable stay with a great breakfast.
Pros:

The staff were really polite and efficient.
The hotel was quite dated but it was really clean and warm. Lovely gardens and good location. Breakfast was waitress served and a good menu including fish dishes. It was all delicious.
Evening meals were available as well.
Comfortable high bed with room underneath for suitcases.

Cons:

Very dated but classic, it was ok though.
Shower head was loose.
It would have been quite nice to have some quiet music in the background at breakfast time but I'm only writing a few things to fill in the box.

Pros:

Beautiful place the staff were very friendly. The only criticism were the very hard pillows. I could not sleep on them. Please buy some soft, my neck would thank you.😀

Able to walk into Sidmouth, so good situation.

Cons:

Parking was quite awkward sometimes, not a lot of room to manoeuvre. Breakfast and evening meal times very limited for serving.
