No hot water, no night staff, and no proper follow-up. Very disappointing experience.

Very disappointing experience for a so-called 4-star hotel.
During the night, there was absolutely no hot water in our Deluxe room. We could not use the bathtub we paid for and could not even take a simple shower. What is even more concerning is that there was no night assistance at all. Reception only starts at 10:00 AM, and despite calling all available numbers during the night, no one answered.
For a hotel claiming to be 4 stars, having zero night staff or reachable emergency assistance is unacceptable.
When we reported the issue the next morning, the receptionist was dismissive and unhelpful. Instead of showing understanding, we were told they would “check with the manager,” with no concrete solution offered. We were not taken seriously.
More than one month later, we are still waiting for a response to our email and for the promised refund. The lack of professionalism and follow-up is shocking.
This experience happened on my birthday, which made it even more disappointing.
I would not recommend this hotel if you expect proper service, basic facilities, or professional customer care.

Goeie kamer alleen tegenvaller van de herrie in de avond

Nette kamer en schoon

Cons:

Wij hebben hier op zaterdag geslapen en hadden niet verwacht dat het een ‘feest’ centrum is. We konden niet slapen totdat de kroegen dicht gingen omdat de bas zo erg naar binnen drong. Toen we na een dag Amsterdam terug kwamen en wilde douchen hadden we water dat net van koud af is.

Leuke ligging , goed personeel helaas niet suite waardig

De ligging is goed , ontvangst en personeel was zeer vriendelijk

Cons:

Ik had de suite , er zijn teveel mankementen , zoals een loszittende douche paal, niet afsluitbare bad en wasbak, tv die met twee afstand bedieningen bediend dienen te worden , erg omslagtig , grote gleuven tussen laminaat , raam kon niet open , wel badslippers , geen badjas , geen safe , en zo nog wel een paar dingen die echt beter moeten .

Bien mais trop cher pour ce que c’est
Pros:

Nous avons adoré la suite, les lumières tamisées pour créer une ambiance chaleureuse. Le lit est très confortable et le jacuzzi est top.

Cons:

La douche est très grande mais l’espace n’est pas assez chauffé et on ne peut pas régler la température de l’eau. Nous avons retrouvé un cafard le lendemain devant la douche.
Le déjeuné n’est pas compris dans le prix de la chambre. De plus, les pancakes étaient surgelés. Le personnel est assez froid.

Cons:

Een aantal punten in de afwerking van de kamer waren niet 100%. zo was er een stukje plafond beschadigd en bij het bad een stuk tegel los.

Voelde mij als een prinses in deze prachtige kamer.
Pros:

Geweldige suite, mooie ruime kamer. Grote ronde bad. Mooi ingericht. Heerlijk overal dichtbij om heerlijk te kunnen eten of in de stad te vertoeven. Kamer was keurig schoon. Ik kom hier zeker ook terug!

Cons:

Bubbelbad deed het helaas niet. Heb ik wel aangegeven zodat dit hopelijk snel gemaakt word.

nice but a bit too expensive for what it is
Pros:

the hotel itself is very pretty and modern, it has the restaurant and cafe downstairs which is nice. zaandam on weekdays is a bit empty and don’t expect to be able to eat out late.

Cons:

we got to our suite (even after our supposed arrival hour) and it wasn’t cleaned at all. the employee working on the reception told us she would clean it herself and that it would be ready in 20 minutes. it was okay but it’s not what i would expect with the price we payed. also, we didn’t get any bathrobes and the place itself, outside the room, was a sauna!!! our “jacuzzi” was just a big bathtub with lights.

gezellig en perfecte locatie
Pros:

de prachtige kamer met een mooi bad

Cons:

Er zat een rode streep in het bad geen idee van wat

en mijn kamer was pas om 15:40 klaar terwijl er staat dat je vanaf 15:00 kon inchecken
