The Hotel at Oberlin

Excellent hotel. Very friendly staff. Very pleasant room. Restaurant was good, but not exceptional. Location, location, location -- couldn't be better for a "school visit" with my grandson.

The dining was very pleasant and meals prepared well.

The hotel is lovely and the rooms were very clean and nice. That said, when our flight home to New York was canceled due to an impending blizzard and we had to cut our trip short and drive home to beat the storm, we asked for a refund on the night we didn't use and were told no.

It seems cynical to me for a hotel that is twice the price of others in the area and owned by the college to not refund a room given the circumstances (thousands of canceled flights). Moreover, it was a Sunday night and the hotel was empty so it's unlikely they could have otherwise booked the room.

The restaurant staff was also strangely inattentive, especially given there were only two other tables both times we ate there--and so rude that we were laughing about it later.

We stayed one night at the Homewood Suites by Hilton - Cleveland Sheffield, OH. The room was lovely, huge, included a whole kitchen and free breakfast and was half the price. It was maybe 20 minutes from campus.

The Hotel at Oberlin wasn't worth the price just for the proximity to campus. Save your money.

Great hotel! All experiences are excellent. Rooms nicely sized, showers good, the staff is wonderful throughout. If you are staying in Oberlin this is your only option. The good news is they deliver.

This is the only hotel in Oberlin. So, the choices are small. Hotel is new and the rooms are very nice and clean. Very comfortable hotel to stay at for a visit to the college. The hotel is across the street from the college-very convenient.

We have stayed at The Hotel at Oberlin several times and we are always impressed with the thoughtful design and attention to details. The hotel is exceptionally clean. The rooms are ultra comfortable with very comfortable beds. We had such a good night sleep, we asked what kind of mattress they use. The food at the hotel restaurant , 1833, is very good too. You will not regret your stay.

The hotel at Oberlin is quite beautiful with a wonderful lobby that serves a great meeting place with my Oberlin student and his friends. The beds are great, firm, but not too firm. Everything is super clean, too.

I stayed at the hotel because we had reserved the meeting space there for business purposes. The staff was amazing, both in the hotel and the restaurant and the sales staff as well!
I can't say enough about how wonderful this stay was, even after I had to stay an extra night unexpectedly. The hotel manager and staff worked wonderfully to accommodate our group for the extra day as well!
Definitely will stay again and recommend!

The Hotel at Oberlin is so convenient for parents dropping off, picking up, or visiting their student. The room is always immaculate and quiet!

A lovely hotel -unique and modern in the midst of downtown Oberlin. Easy access to all restaurants, shops, and libraries-really an awesome place to stay!

This hotel is lovely and very smartly designed. The rooms were large and very classy. We wish we could have stayed longer. I love that the hotel does so much to be environmentally friendly.
