Spa facilities are available on a bookable 1-hour slot basis (subject to availability) and are charged at £15.00 per person, per hour. Guests must be over the age of 18 to use these facilities.

The hotel is lovely ,obviously had a huge renovation,but was rather clinical,it needs real colour here and there to catch the eye in the bar and lounge ,bold wallpaper, cushions, items on the fireplace to lend interest .It all seemed rather huge and empty .It needs filling up .

Breakfast is very good but I don't like using a machine for hot drinks....I much prefer a freshly made pot of tea or coffee!
Staff - all of them from housekeeping and bar to reception and the spa were friendly, helpful and efficient. The qualities of staff I have only previously found in 5* hotels.
Food - wonderful dinner, reasonably priced. An outstanding buffet breakfast - quality produce used.

Nice hotel with an interesting history. Very little outside space but quiet and convenient. Staff all excellent and nothing was too much trouble. Food was very good too - cheese soufflé and breakfast both extremely well cooked. Room comfortable and clean if a little plain.
The only downside was the bed with was very soft.
What a lovely hotel. I liked everything. From bar snack to breakfast. Also had a facial and jacuzzi which both were great.
