Gutes Zimmer für eine Nacht auf dem Mae Hong Son Loop
Pros:

Zentrale Lage und sehr freundliches Personal. Trinkwasser stand kostenlos zur Verfügung. Warme Dusche. Zimmer völlig ausreichend für eine Nacht.

Cons:

Kein richtiges Fenster im Zimmer, sehr dunkel und keine gute Belüftung im Badezimmer.

Beautifully decorated hotel in the midst of khun yuam.
Pros:

The side yard was beautifully done facing the roadside and that was what draws me to book the property. The room was beautifully decorated and aesthetic pleasant. Clean and spacious.

Cons:

It was closed to the main road. You can hear cars passing by in the night when it’s quiet. The big wooded bed frame was jutting out, and I carelessly trip myself in the process. Its would be wonderful if they install some safety rubber guard to prevent guest from getting hurt. I can hear people going up the stairs in the middle of the night because my room was just beside the staircase.

Pros:

This is a very sweet little hotel. The check in lady (and probably owner) was very kind and welcoming. This town is definitely small and off the main path, so we were happy with this place to stay on our road trip. It's an older building and the room was a little stuffy (not sure it's used a ton) but it cleared up with the AC unit and we had a comfortable night. It's a great deal for the price and a cute, safe, comfortable place to stay.

Inexpensive and moderately comfortable
Pros:

Very good quality sheets and towels for a budget hotel. We were impressed by the emergency lights and first aid kit in the hallway as many Thai hotels do not take safety seriously. The staff were helpful and friendly. There was plenty of counter space in the room as well as facilities for opening luggage. Water ad libitum, free fruit in the lobby. Air conditioning worked very well. The mattress was fairly comfortable though on the harder side, and the pillows were excellent.

Cons:

It would have been really nice to have breakfast as finding food in Khun Yuam on the weekend is a bit difficult. There *was* instant coffee available.

Staircase up to the room is very steep, which was difficult for me because of mobility issues. However, there was a sturdy bannister.
