Super value in a great location in Oaxaca
Pros:

We booked the hotel for just one night -- just a place to land in Oaxaca. We wish we had booked for a longer period. It is sooo well-priced and so authentic and the location is excellent. Big open interior courtyard, high ceilings in the room, balconies and comfortable beds.

Pros:

Quiet, monastic and minimalistic feel in this awesome building.
Floor was impecable, I see the cleaning staff do a good job with the tile floors. Receptionist were kind and prompt to help

Cons:

no hot water..at least in the room, I stayed.

Good location and value for the price but only accepts cash payment.

Good location and good value for the price. Hot water. Sitting area
upstairs outside of rooms with couches and chairs.

Cons:

The hotel only accepts cash payments (no credit cards). No ceiling fan in room,
only a portable fan on a stand with a short cord and only one outlet to plug it in.
Some street noise if you get a room overlooking the street. Back rooms are quieter
but my back room had no windows.

The location, the hotel is really authentic, a true Oaxaca experience.

Cons:

The bed are really basic, and you need to ask the staff for hot water to be turn on, the batroom smell really bad, and it is really loud, they will insist for you to have a balcony saying its an upgrade. But it is not as people want calm and peace.

Würde das Hotel wieder wählen und ein ruhigeres Zimmer belegen.
Pros:

Nahe beim Zentrum. Geräumiges Zimmer mit Balkon.

Cons:

Leider sehr viel Strassenlärm. Es gibt jedoch auch ruhigere Zimmer, jedoch ohne Fenster.

Que no había televisión , se entiende que uno va a conocer y tal vez lo que menos se ocupa es la habitación, pero en días lluvioso se antoja estar en la habitación y distraerse con un poco de televisión

The hotel allowed me to achieve what I had come to do in Oaxaca.
Pros:

Location right at the center of Oaxaca, so good value for the price paid.

Cons:

Hotel does not accept debit/credit cards. I had to go to the bank and pay it all in cash. Also, no TV.

Very nice and friendly staff with comfortable beds.
Pros:

This hotel had the nicest staff. They were so friendly and helpful. However, I was placed in a room with a balcony which I didn't request (and ended up paying extra for it as they viewed it as an upgrade because of the balcony). The hotel was a little rustic but I didn't mind that and the double bed was very comfortable. However, the noise on the street made it difficult to sleep. I had to use earplugs and the fan already in the room for white noise but maybe this is something that is unavoidable in downtown Oaxaca.

Great spot for the price
Pros:

Great price for the location and value. The staff was super friendly and worked with my limited spanish. I knew what I was booking and knew that the facilities would just be a clean comfortable room and bed, nothing super fancy which I didn't need for my 2 night stay. If I was staying longer I would probably book somewhere with a nicer shower.

Cons:

There was no hot water for me to take a comfortable shower. They were super kind to turn it on for me but unfortunately it didn't make much of a difference.

The staff was quite friendly and nice. Good location, close to the main square. Spacious room.

Cons:

My room was right above the reception. It was very noisy as the windows faced the road with cars. There are two rooms above the reception. I believe only these two rooms are noisy. You can request other rooms with windows that face the patio. It will be much quieter. The room and furniture was a bit old. You need to ask the staff to turn on the gas if you want to have a shower, but the staff did not tell me that when I checked in, so I had some cold showers at first. Room was a bit dark.
