A clean hotel in Chai Chet
Pros:

Hotel was clean and had a good a/c. It was 300 meters to the closest beach in Chai Chet. It was a nice beach, with not so many people.
The hotel offered a small gym, however it was without a/c so it was too hot to use it. Staff was friendly and my room had a good size balcony which was great. The room aslo offered a small refrigiator and 2 bottles of waters each day. Shower was good, and plenty of hot water

Pros:

Stayed in Koh Chang just after the peak season had finished.Chai Chet was a good central location between white sands and lonely beach. Plenty of restaurants and shops and beautiful beach.
The hotel was very well priced because of the time of year. Ggood size room and bed, fridge, tv and air con with balcony. Would suit couples better than hippy tree hugging back packer types. Friendly staff.

Overpriced
Pros:

Even for small hotel the staff management and hospitality product completely miss the mark at this place. Arriving mid-afternoon to find lobby in total disarray with dirty dishes on tables and stacks of boxes piled up in small cramped lobby area. Pleasant enough family appeared to be running things with small children all about. Fine for a homestay, but not for a hotel in this price range. As for my room, clean but had door to connect to next room, and thinness of door and wall meant hearing every word and sound from next door. Moved to better guesthouse at half the price after one night.

It was all right.
Pros:

Friendly staff, some cockroaches. Nothing spectacular, nothing awful - pretty much what you can expect. Nice area. There are much better places to stay for roughly the same amount of money.
