Novotel Phuket City Phokeethra Hotel

Good service and explanation for facilities. Especially, we are able to get into the room earlier than we expected

First time staying at Novotel Phuket City and my family had an enjoyable stay. We were welcomed warmly by the front desk and assigned a beautiful and spacious room.

The bed was comfortable and the room was clean and well maintained. The carpark is directly connected to the main building. Novotel Phuket City is also connected to Ibis Styles Phuket City. There is a 7-11 just 2 mins walk away and many eateries just outside the hotel.

Breakfast was delicious too although the variety is not huge but its adequate.

Overall, my family had an enjoyable stay and we would like to thank the team for making our stay pleasant and memorable.

We bad a wonderful experience stay in this hotel. Hotel is very neat and clean and spacious. Staff is very much generous especially Ging, Jazz and Baifern

It was a good stay , hotel has decent sized rooms and though we had initial glitches as we unfortunately booked through Singapore airlines and agoda , Novotel did make it up and made us feel welcome . Warm and friendly staff and approachable . We were with one toddler and an infant and 6 adults. In-house restaurant amor is surprisingly good with a good vegetarian menu . Decent breakfast with two indian dishes everyday . ( which could be better though edible !) no complaints as they have a good spread of breads and oatmeal and whatnot which are vegetarian friendly too! Though we had slight plumbing issues it was rectified immediately as our bathroom floor tended to flood . Rooms were , airy with big balcony and amenities like coffee tea , kettle complimentary water . Totally it was value for money .

Decided this year to spend some time in the old town before heading up to The Pavilions and I must say this hotel looked after us extremely well there is everything you need for a comfortable stay.
The restaurant on the ground floor served very good food although it was always empty the breakfast was great with lots of choices and something for every palate.
Roof top bar very good with Jo Joe excelling in customer service.
On the whole we enjoyed our stay the only negative was the road noise we were on the 10th floor and had to sleep with ear plugs due to the traffic noise but hey we were in the city.

Our 1st time here in Phuket for a 4-day holiday. Keen to explore Phuket old town and book this hotel after seeing good reviews online. Had a rather good check-in, and quite satisfied with the room that we booked. Only that the room is a little old but yet clean enough for a good stay. More satisfying is the customer service at reception especially the friendly, efficient, kind and very patient service from Ging who is able to communicate with us in the Chinese language. Also, breakfast is surprisingly good especially for us vegetarian. Well done and thank you Ging, and this hotel.

Great service go to the beach so I'm going to be visited the Patong and said no it's good idea we came with family here is quieter so it's easy to go to the city and have a look around or so overcrowded overcrowded and kids were like my daughter was like oh my God she was like over there

JoJoe and the staff were attentive and efficient. The meals looked magical and tasted delicious. On top of all this a live musical band elevated the atmosphere who played requested tunes, too.

This rooftop had a good vibes. There are two sides view: sunset town view and ocean view.
We have a great experience & get an excellent service , especially from New & Jo staffs.

⭐️ Very disappointing review – avoid at all costs

I stayed at the Novotel Phuket City Phokeethra and my experience was extremely poor.

Upon arrival, I left a €108 security deposit, which was never refunded. Despite sending several emails to the hotel, I received no response. I also tried contacting Accor's WhatsApp support, again without any reply. Faced with this complete silence, I am now forced to go to the police station and the government website to report what I consider to be dishonest behavior.

In addition to this serious problem, the hotel's cleanliness was unacceptable for an establishment of this standard. My room was dirty, with sauce and food stains on the furniture. This is simply unacceptable.

Another shocking point: I was charged €75 to wash just one kilo of clothes, which is completely excessive and has never happened to me in any other hotel, even high-end ones.

In short, between the non-refundable deposit, the total lack of communication, the filth, and the exorbitant prices, this hotel is absolutely not worth it. I strongly advise against staying there.

We loved everything about this hotel. It is physically beautiful with incredible amenities. We stayed in over a dozen hotels on this trip and the breakfast here was easily the most impressive.

I’m honestly shocked that this hotel has good reviews. The only good part of my review goes to the staff. They were all friendly and helpful and they went out of their way to give us a little cake and made swans with towels on the bed and put flower petals down to say happy honeymoon to me and my husband. That was very thoughtful. My review is solely on the quality of this hotel and feeling misled. They advertise as a 5 star hotel. There is NO WAY this is a 5 star hotel. They have only soap and shampoo in the bathroom, they don’t offer conditioner. Even motels have conditioner. The towel had a blood stain on it. The floors and cabinets look dirty and old. The bed is so cheap and uncomfortable and so is the linen. They only have a kettle and instant coffee. The curations have holes in them. The walls have stains. Honestly this hotel is 3 stars at best. I wouldn’t be so surprised if they advertised it as a lower star hotel. Just disappointed.

When we first arrived at the hotel we were disappointed to learn that the pool was closed for renovations, especially travelling with an 11yo for her 12th bday. However one of the team, Maimoon, promptly took control of the situation and did everything that she could to ensure that our special trip was exactly that, special.
(We should note that they did have an alternative pool available at a hotel a short walk down the block).
We were taken care of so well, my daughter was spoiled with cakes on her birthday and her favourite meal for dinner.
We each experienced the in-house spa services and all agree that they are the best that we have ever had.
Bryan was also pivotal in ensuring that our stay was flawless.
The buffet breakfast again, is one of the best that all of us have experienced, truly catering to all dietary requirements and flavour profiles that you could possibly ask for.
The rooms were spacious and clean, making for a very comfortable stay also.
Beyond the highlights of the hotel itself, the location is incredible. Walking distance to Old Town Phuket, supermarkets, pharmacy, cash exchange and anything else you could ask for.
Bryan, Maimoon and the team are also excellent for providing recommendations for places to eat, visit, shop, etc, all with local knowledge.
We will absolutely be returning to this hotel again, and can genuinely put it down to the outstanding service provided by both Bryan and Maimoon, and their team.
Cannot recommend this hotel highly enough, on all fronts.

We had an incredible stay at Novotel Phuket City Phokeethra. The team was so welcoming, and everything from check-in to check-out was perfect. It was the ideal way to end our honeymoon — relaxing, elegant, and memorable. Highly recommend!

We stayed at Novotel with our family of eight and had four rooms booked. The hotel’s location is definitely convenient — close to Old Town and surrounded by plenty of good spas and local eateries. Unfortunately, that’s where the advantage ends. The rooms felt dated and poorly maintained for the price point. Floors were creaky, and overall upkeep left much to be desired.

While the staff at reception were polite and accommodating, and housekeeping did help us heat milk for the kids late at night (which we appreciated), the overall cleaning process seemed hurried and not very thorough. Breakfast was adequate with a fair variety, but nothing particularly memorable or worth mentioning.

For a brand like Novotel, we expected better attention to detail, cleanliness, and comfort. Sadly, it turned out to be a very average stay. We wouldn’t choose to come back or recommend it to others.

No3 on our Phuket trip this was only a few days stop over before we headed up north off Phuket , good hotel good room restaurant was ok but good views , its a good hotel to get around the city , great staff .
