Nice place to stay, clean, value for money and one of the best cafe in the island.

Abbiamo soggiornato in uno standard family chalet che si trova dietro alle camere famigliari de luxe (è era un plus) e sul quale non ho nulla da ridire: ampia, pulita e con tutto quanto necessita.
Le camere apparentemente più belle vista mare invece sono sul passaggio del Jetty e del ristorante, pertanto non esiste privacy e c'è sempre rumore.
Non c'è la possibilità di sfruttrare il mare di fronte in quanto molto basso e con barriera corallina (non balneabile in alcun modo) e con jetty sul canale tra le 2 isole. Per fare il bagno occorre o camminare 10 minuti attraversando 3 resort e passando su scale per andare al PIR o camminare 15 minuti attraversando la giungla (sconsiglio infradito) e attraversando dei resort per andare a sud dove il mare è migliore.
La parte peggiore è stata il ristorante. Considerando che i taxiboat di sera raddoppiano i prezzi a persona e che il passaggio nella giungla non è percorribile di notte, si può mangiare solo al PIR (porzioni piccole, caro), o al Coral View (mediocre), o al Mama's (triste e lenti) o al Barat.
La cucina del Barat è discreta, mentre il BBQ serale davvero buono. Peccato che per avere un tavolo occorre mettersi in coda prima delle 19 e già alle 20 spesso il pesce e le verdure alla griglia siano finiti. Ovviamente è carissimo rispetto ai ristoranti dopo la giugla

Alloggiavo in bungalow davanti al mare, seppur semplice ho trovato una sistemazione adatta alla genuinità del contesto con il ristorante ed il diving vicini che facevano da punto di aggregazione

Il The Barat è posizionato in un punto strategico del isola e a pochi metri si trova una spiaggia fantastica situata di fronte al PIR dove è possibile vedere tante varietà di pesci e coralli.
Noi alloggiavamo nello chalet sea front che consiglio.La colazione a noi non è piaciuta e la scelta é minima pur pagando a parte.
Da evitare i dolci al ristorante cheescake ect perché siamo stati male.

Vi boede i et værelse helt ud til vandet, hvilket var lækkert. De andre værelser var knap så godt beliggende. Hotellets restaurant er vores helt store klagepunkt…vi fik vores retter på vidt forskellige tidspunkter. Der kunne sagtens gå 30-45 minutter mellem den ene og den anden fik deres ret. Somme tider glemte de helt vores bestillinger.
Derudover var transporten tilbage til Kuala Besut var åbenbart svær for dem at bestille…båden var 25 minutter forsinket.

Værelser er pæne og ganske fornuftige.
Desværre er der ingen strand foran hotellet.
Restauranten var ofte overfyldt, det kunne være svært at få et bord, og er meget dyr.
Prisen i forhold til både placering, service og stand ligger i den høje ende.

Nice place to stay on Perhentians, everything you need is available at the Barat, or a small walk to the next beach. The food options were good, really liked the BBQ.

Family sea front chalet was nice, airco and fan helped to cool down. View was a bit obstructed by the restaurant terrace.

Calidad/precio me parece un abuso, la habitación es enana, no te limpian la habitación y te encuentras en una habitación extremadamente pequeña muy simple llena de insectos. Pagando más de 90€ la noche.

Bien placé pour accéder à pieds à de jolis plages et snorkelling

Points positifs : emplacement (à 5 min à pied de Turtle Beach, l'une des plus belles plages de l'archipel), la chambre (deluxe family room) récente, grande et agréable.
Points négatifs : le restaurant, cher et pas terrible, quel que soit le repas (le Mama's à côté est d'un bien meilleur rapport qualité prix, et plus varié au petit-déjeuner), le service est une catastrophe, extrêmement désorganisé lent (même pour un adepte du mode slow, comme nous), des erreurs et des oublis dans les commandes pour le restaurant systématiques, mais aussi à la réception. Seul les excursions de snorkeling (correctes, sans plus) fonctionnent bien.
En conclusion, si je devais retourner aux Perhentian je choisirai un autre établissement.

I do not recommend this hotel. It was very dirty.

Asiatische Reisegruppen (>10 Personen), die bis in die Nacht mit ihren selbst mitgebrachten Lautsprechern Musik gehört haben. Das Hotel hat hier nicht eingegriffen, erst nach mehrmaliger Beschwerde. Mit Kind unzumutbar.
Restaurant mit versteckten Preisen, die bei Bestellung absolut nicht transparent sind. Nach Rechnungsstellung erfolgt die böse Überraschung

Great staff working well as a team, happy and receptive while being continually busy
Food was consistently good. On one night we had fresh fish and squid barbacue and it was tender and delicious.
Loved Boat trip A and also hiring a boat to take us to a lovely beach for snorkelling on other days

What a great place to stay on Perhentian island (Greater)! A real gem. Location is perfect with 3 beaches in walking distance (one right next to the accommodation). We stayed in a seafront view family room and it was amazing waking up to the beautiful view. The rooms are spacious, clean, comfy beds, plenty of pillows, fridge, AC, a big fan on the ceiling. Big screen tv is connected to wifi so we were able to watch some of our favourite programs before bed. Spacious balcony - stepping out of it -> stepping into the restaurant. Staff are super helpful, professional, friendly. We strongly recommend this place. We would definitely come back if we come to East Malaysia again.

très mauvais accueil à l’hôtel. cheveux de femme présent dans la chambre à notre arrivée, cafard présent dans la salle de bain. chambre sale et miroir pas propre. présence de punaise de lit , au réveil nous nous réveillons avec beaucoup de boutons. la seule réponse que l’on a eu c’est le changement de drap de lit et le fait que l’on se moque de nous. nous avons donc demandé à changer de chambre mais c’était pareil. bruit de chauve souris présent tout le long de la journée. pour un séjour de 6 jours , pas de changement de serviette ni de draps si l’on fait pas la demande.
Very bad reception at the hotel. Woman's hair present in the room when we arrived, cockroach present in the bathroom. Dirty room and unclean mirror. Presence of bedbugs, when we woke up we woke up with a lot of spots. The only response we received was the change of bed sheets and the fact that we were made fun of. So we asked to change rooms but it was the same. Bat noise present all day long. For a 6-day stay, no change of towels or sheets if you don't ask.

Hotel correct, l’état des lieux est correct, le seul bémol que je trouve à cet hôtel et que le service de restauration est très élevé par rapport au restaurant qu’il y a sur les îles juste à côté
